Installed on a '21 Scorpion DC 151 HG. Installation wasn't hard. Just make sure you work in a clean space and keep track of where everything goes. Saw another review that said it took up too much space and they couldn't get the cover back on. I didn't run into any such issues. it comes with a few sizes of washers/shims in case its thicker or thinner tan the original setup. In my case I needed to go thinner. I ended up swapping the 2 copper washers on either side of a bearing out for one 0.2mm and one 0.3mm washer to get the drag feeling right. It gets both looser and tighter than I'll ever need it now.

It was easy to install. Sounds great. Instructions are clear enough. Good pictures. Shimano should have included this from the factory.

I installed this in a 21 Shimano Scorpion DC, which it advertises as fitting. I followed the instructions, installation was pretty straightforward. But, the issue is the drag clicker and washer are much thicker than the original parts they are taking place of, which throws off the tolerances between the gears my brand new smooth reel feel very rough. If I take the drag clicker out and install the original drag washer and plate, everything is back to being smooth. Put the clicker back in, and it’s rough again. It’s noticeably harder to get the side cover on with the drag clicker installed, it takes some extra pressure to squeeze it together and I think that’s what’s throwing off the gears just slightly.Unfortunately, once the clicker ring is installed into the main gear, it’s virtually impossible to remove, as it is press fit extremely tightly. You can still convert it back to factory without the clicker, but that one extra piece will still be in there. It doesn’t cause any issues, but, it means I can’t return it.

My son loves to video himself catching fish and posting-- we always joke around that the big ones get away-- the assembly to the alarm drag is simple and easy. Make sure you measure your reel to ensure a good fit. We tested it out-- and love the effect-- from the cast to the reel it in. The sound effects are wonderful-- and he absolutely loves it!The best part are the people who are fishing nearby-- and they hear that alarm-- and everyone perks up to see the mighty catch!Great purchase! (Even though I believe the cost of this is really high-- it does make a great gift to any bait cast fisher!)

The media could not be loaded. Shimano curado DC 200HG is my reel. The new hardware is thicker than the original parts so it requires more pressure to close the cover. Everything felt a little tougher until I completely reassembled the reel then it got alot smoother. Overall I give it 3 stars would be 5 if the parts where a little thinner and not such a tight fit. Clicker sounds good though I'll see how it does on fish.

I thought this was going to be an upgrade for my fishing pole. However my husband immediately grabbed this and went to the garage where I didn't see him for hours. Apparently he was playing with this. It is now magically installed for me. I cannot say how easy it was since he did it, but he did say it wasn't difficult. It is definitely an attention getter. We are still in winter weather with the ice just breaking up so I haven't gotten to really try it out but is sounds good and I am looking forward to the ice chunks to melt so we get get out on the water.

This is the best kit I've come across to add a drag clicker to the Curado DC reel. You have to have some knowledge of the inards of the reel to install this. It took me about 30 minutes. There is absolutely no gluing involved as I've seen in some other kits. This kit is purely drop-in. Now my Curado DC sounds like my Excense DC when that big bass tries to run.

It’s a cool kit but it’s Mids at best all the damned drag grease is all over the bags and in the tin everything is just soaked and I have zero usable grease so yeah thanks perfect install 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
