This solar well pump looks very well made and is reasonable heavy. It does not have a solar panel and any battery included, but it has a solar controller provided with the well pump. To get proper power and capacity solar panel and battery to make this well pump work it will ad up some significant cost to your set up and will cost you even more than the pump itself so be prepared for that and get some quotes to see if it is in your budget. Yes, I would prefer if it would be a complete package so I would realize the cost upfront, but I would still recommend it for the quality build.

This is a stout little solar water pump. Although it doesn’t come with the solar panels it does come with the controller and can produce 5.7 gallons of water per minute. There are other pumps that will come with the panels around this price, but not the controller. So, it is really about what you need. This is a heavy-duty pump that puts out a good amount of water and is a nice option for going off grid or having water in very remote locations without readily accessible power. I think that this is a nice kit that gives you options.

I really liked the idea of a solar-powered pump until I received this unit. Some broken part (see photo) was included in the box - I don't even think it belongs t this pump, but such lack of care worries me about the rest of the pump. There is no solar panel included - which means that this is really NOT a solar pump, it just has the ability to be powered by solar or some other power source as long as it is 24V DC. If you are going to advertise something as solar-powered, then it sure better include the solar panel source! Not impressed.

This solar well pump appears to be very well made. It includes everything you need to use it except the solar panel and battery. Another reviewer claimed that it's not really a solar pump because it doesn't include a solar panel, but this is misleading. What this pump includes is a nice MPPT controller that interfaces with the pump. The MPPT controller is hooked up to your solar panel, battery, and well pump and takes care of recharging your battery from your solar panel as well as supplying the stored power to your well pump. It's easier to have this MPPT controller that's already optimized for a 24v well pump rather than trying to find a good one to pair with the pump.We're going into the winter where I live with not much sunlight so I probably won't install this until spring, but I'm impressed with the build quality and the fact that the kit includes everything needed except the solar panel and battery. Getting the pump first allows me to shop around for the right 24v solar panel and battery to pair it with.

Ufixed 3" OD Solar Well Pump with MPPT Controller 24V Water Pump, this pump seems to be pretty well made with stainless materials. Charge controller is also quite solid and well made. Unfortunately I have to wait until spring to get this fully hooked up but I have tested the pump and it works great. This is going to be a great Offgrid solution for a well pump. Will update when I have fully installed.

This solar well pump is very robust. It has a controller that allows 24V DC power 210W.The solar sump pump and solar water well pump are made from stainless steel, which ensures longevity.I love that it has a sturdy flow capacity and is submersible to a safe distance.Though the price ($759.99) for this solar well pump which is steep for me, I think it could be cheaper.All in all, a workable solar well pump that is suitable for farm yards as well.
