Koh-I-Noor Progresso Woodless Graphite Pencil Set, 6 Degrees, 2 Pencils Per Degree, 12 Pencils (FA8911.12)

2 pencils were broken when I opened them would t normally mind but they were very pricey - tried to contact seller to arrange refund still waiting !!!

I think I've bought three sets of these already because I love them so much I go through them fast.If this is your first time with woodless pencils, the thing to note is that they are fragile. The purpose of the wood is to protect to the graphite. Without it, the pencil will tend to break if it falls. Think of how points break, especially if they're too long.The upside, not really needing to sharpen it (sometimes rub against scrap paper or a point sander if I need a sharp point) and the sheer quality of the graphite is well worth it to me. I love these. They make a great line. They smudge well and blend nicely into each other if you want a gradation from a lighter to a darker area.

Love these pencils! Great for detailed work, stays sharp longer, I wish there was a complete set, very happy with this set though, they are the pencils I use most for all sketches. I will buy again.

These are amazing to draw with. They are heavy in your hand but draw with precision like a mechanical pencil. The softer options allow you to get nice dark values.
