Tear Away Pants for Men Side Zipper Lightweight Pants Zip Leg Sweatpants Breakaway Post Surgery Recovery Zipper Pants

These breakaway athletic pants work very well for wearing over my full leg brace. I can unzip the whole pants leg, remove the brace and have a wound dressing changed without having to undress. I’m 5’8”, 162 lbs and medium fits me well, even the inseam length is correct. The zippers seem sturdy enough so far and can be zipped down from the waist or up from the ankle. When unzipping from the waist, the waistband stays intact so my other leg, crotch and backside stay covered. The waistband is elasticized with two Velcro tabs that provides for some adjustment. There are two side pockets but no rear pockets. It would be nice if the pockets had zip or button closures as my wallet and phone tend to slip out when sitting. The material is thin, similar to usual athletic wear, which makes it easy to put on and take off. They work great for my situation and I would wear them even after I no longer need the leg brace.

Husband had surgery and had to have a catheter for a few weeks. These were a huge help.

Was a little disappointed in the way that it fit. Amazon recommended a certain size for me;though I knew it wasn't the size that I need. But I went ahead and ordered it anyway. Boy, was I sorry. The product is a very nice product. Though I know I can always return it upto a certain date, I decided to keep it because I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it etc. It is way, way, too big for me. Upon trying it on, I ended up looking like a one of those old men that has their pants all the way up to their chest. And this is approximately five or six inches above my belly button up to my torso. In order to keep them up, I had no other choice but to use suspenders.I ended up looking like one of those old nerds. Though I will say, the quality is very nice along with smooth zippers

I got these for a scheduled knee replacement surgery. So with that in mind, they are perfectly functional they’re really roomy - they run full, so definitely true to size. lots of room in the thigh; reasonable length. No drawstring that was a problem for me, but the bigger problem for me it was the zippers slide both directions; top and down, but there’s no way to lock the zippers in place at the top, so they have a tendency to work themselves down. I neglected to mention they do have velcro tabs on on each side which s great for lo mobility and joint issues but they are NOT secure.. and the pockets are very shallow so anticipate things like wallets, EarPods, keys etc falling our while sitting etc

These pants are great. I had surgery on bith of my legs and these were super simple to put on and all of the medical staff said how easy they are for what they had to do.

UPDATE:Zipper broke rendering them unusable. Several of the teeth came off, not even with any vigorous use. VERY DISAPPOINTED.Was quite pleased with these light grey, XL for my dad. Not too thick, which is what I wanted for summer. Fit perfectly, length also perfect, only because I ordered a size down due to reviews, thank goodness. They looked really good! Would be nice to have a drawstring but elastic and Velcro seemed OK for now. We shall see how they hold up!*THEY DID NOT HOLD UP! Broke right after return window closed.

I bought these pants after my hip surgery. My PT loves them because you can get to my hip without takeiing pants off

My grandpa had a bad fall and now needs help dressing and oh boy do these pants make our lives so much easier! We have about 4 pairs now. If an elderly person also has any type of catheter bag these pants are very helpful because you can unzip from the bottom to let the tube through the pants more easily.
