New gardener here. I appreciate the practicality of this kit and quality. The stand was so easy to assemble that my 9 year old followed the instructions and put it together by himself. The top side cover came bent but I got a quick response from seller and appreciate the customer service. I maybe purchasing a second one cuz I liked this so much.

This is a big improvement over the seed starter I have been using. I am starting plants for friends and family and needed more space.First a warning, this does not come with the seed started tray but that is ok. The larger tray is harder to work with. I use four or five smaller starting trays that hold 6-12 plants so it is easier to keep track of and work with.That being said, This unit is sturdier than the one I have been using. The light puts out more light and is LED so it uses less power. The best improvement is the cover. My old system the cover catches condensation and dumps a lot of it outside the unit. This cover is designed to fit inside of the base and all the condensation goes back to the plants.I may have to buy another to replace my old system.

This setup works great and covers all the bases for seed starting. Very easy to assemble. Wish the grow light covered a wider area but overall very satisfactory...I purchased two kits.

Great setup with easy assembly and quality components. Threw a couple water soaked rockwool cubes in the tray, added seeds, covered with the lid and turned on the light. A day later every seed sprouted!I had to remove the cover for an hour or so each day to reduce the humidity a bit. Overall, very pleased!

I want to start by saying that I do love this kit. I love it so much I've ordered it again and again and again. The reason I've ordered it 3 more times is the first one came in 2 days. I easily set it up and started my tomato plants. It was easy and so great I ordered another to start my other plants. It said it was in stock but kept getting delayed and then said is was lost. OK so I canceled and reordered. again the same thing. Now the third time I just got notified that once again It's delayed in transit. What's going on???!!!? If this doesn't come by Monday I'm going to be forced to find all the pieces separately that come in this kit and pay much more money. Very frustrated here....UP DATE... Well it was delayed till today and now I just got notified it will be delivered on Thursday!!! That's over a week after it was originally due to be delivered. I'm ordering a different grow light and will leave this one on order. Now I'm curious to see when and if it ever comes. If it does ever come I'll have an extra but I'm not holding my breath! DO NOT ORDER THIS KIT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO START YOUR VEGETABLES SEEDS FOR THIS YEAR!!!

I’ve made pvc frames to hold lights before but first time I’ve seen for sale. Perfect size for a seedling tray. Light good, shines white light not pink. Hangs with simple hooks and chains. Tray arrive cracked but seller handled that problem. You could do all this yourself but the price wasn’t that out of line given you saved yourself a trip to hardware store and a couple hours cutting pvc, assembling and tracking all the parts down.

Looks like ba great seed starter, but had to order twice due to broken parts (tray and cover). On second shipping, the tray is OK, but cover is dented. I have not yet tried the heat pad and light, but they appear to be OK. The only seed starting kit I could find that is complete with head pad & light source,so hope it the rest is OK.

Works great! Just make sure you read the instructions carefully before you try plugging anything in. It you use the wrong end it will completely blow your light and you will have to replace it. It does not tell you that in the instructions but it does tell you how to properly install.
