They came with paper stuck to the bottom and most of them broken. The reason for the 4 stars is my mom still ate 1 package. The rest are in the freezer. No I won't order more. Sorry and thank you

Years ago, I helped rescue a little girl from an abuser and her father in Germany started sending me a box of German goodies each Christmas. He is gone now, but I LOVED them and recently found them on Amazon. I really can't eat all of that anymore without totally ballooning, but ... I found just these few and ordered them. OMG they are good. They definitely have a ginger flavor, so you have to like that ... and I do. Christmas isn't Christmas without these goodies!

I love gingerbread cookies, but I did not like how there was a paper stuck on the back of each cookie. I didn’t know it had icing on it or if it was just stuck to the cookie.!

Grabbed a few packages for gifts and a few for myself. They taste just like the lubkuchen I enjoyed in Germany. Unlike other reviewers, I was fortunate that mine arrived unharmed and fresh.

I love these cookies but used by date is 3/3/2023, I received today 3/30/2023, I’ll still eat them.
