The key to getting the best results is not to overfill them. Instead, gently pour the coffee and leave a slight room for the lid. If you overfill and press the coffee to add more, the water may not flow properly under pressure and heat, leading to a less than perfect cup. Once you figure out this trick, using the capsules becomes very easy.One thing to note is that you'll need to rinse the capsules after each use. That’s the part that I disliked so I bought extra onesTherefore, I recommend buying a couple of pairs, especially if there’s more than one coffee drinker in your household or if you want to avoid rinsing after every cup.Cleaning the capsules is a breeze, as they wash off easily. Overall, these reusable coffee capsules are a fantastic eco-friendly alternative for Nespresso lovers. They’re compatible with my Nexpresso machine and work just fine. The LIHONG Reusable Coffee Pods proved to be a major letdown. Despite the stainless steel build, they failed to deliver on performance. The capsules leaked and produced weak, watery espresso. A regrettable purchase, earning it 1 star.

Cons first:PRICE. I can get up to 6 of the alternatives for each 1 of these.Volume: It does not have the same capacity of the plastic cups, Usually I can get 1 full shot out my Citiz (2 small button presses) per pod. This only gets about 1.5 before the grounds are used up and I have to cancel the full-shot brew. I have to use 50% more pods per cup of coffee. I would have to buy 50% more pods, making the price a double whammy.This was the only one that was too hot to handle within 5 minutes of use (for cleaning)PROS:Tolerances were dead on. No force or damage to the holder/extractor like the other stainless steel brands. Much better for the machine. Not as much leaking into the holder as the plastic brands.SO easy to clean! Open, rinse, wipe. No scrubbing filters for hours like the plastic brands. No peeling away foil lids and trying to separate the foil/grounds for compostingThe packing done by closing the lid, allows for such perfect extraction that this produced the best aroma, flavor, and crema by far.No part of the coffee or water flowing through ever touches plastic/rubber in the pod before going into your cup. I know this is important for some.Conclusion: so much better than the others! My old stainless steal/foil (machine wreckers) are going straight to the recyclers and being replaced with this. Each screen that blows out on my plastic ones I am replacing with this. I am seriously considering spending the $70-$93 to replace my current collection today and being done with the old ones. Just enjoying the coffee for an extra 5 minutes before cleaning.

Could not get coffee quite strong enough

Easy to use. The coffee comes out ok, not as strong as the real capsules. My only worry is as both sides are steel, hope it does not damage the pieces of the machine that punch the capsules

Figured out I can update this review to announce the real solution -- Replace the stainless steel top of this item with the disposable foil lids of this other product -- > "Reusable Capsules for Nespresso OriginalLine, 6pcs Refillable Espresso Pods Stainless Steel Coffee Pods Compatible for Nespresso Original Line Machines (6 Cups + 200 Lids)" ... I hang on to the stainless steel lid as a debug hacker's keepsake ... they both use the same brush and the cup is identical. Please note I did not experience a sticky residue from the foil sticker lids. You can buy the 200 lids separately. They're foil so they are recyclable. This now works for Ninja Expresso Coffee Barista System. Bought this item 5/20/24 figured it out 6/2/24. No longer feel urge to toss cup and top against wall. The foil imprint after an expresso brew matches what you see on an official or unofficial disposable Nespresso original capsules.

Although I still buy the capsules, it is nice to be able to use this high quality stainless steel capsule to fill with my own good expresso using Cuban roast. Although pricey, you only have to buy it once and you can use it forever. The quality is excellent. It come with a little scoop for filling and tamping as well as a brush and an spare ring. This should last years easily.

Using this capsule I was hoping to use the coffee of my preference but unfortunately I didn’t get the flavor neither the creamy texture of express coffee.
