Fenix PD35 LED Torch

Amazing little torch that lights up a good chunk of the park in bright white light when walking the dogs at night. Has 5 brightness settings and a strobe mode which would disorientate any would be attacker allowing you to get away. Also fits nicely in my coat pocket, where it stays so I've always got it at the ready. The 2014 version of this torch has an upgraded 960 lumens on brightest mode. I have many torches of various shapes, sizes and brightness levels, this one is the clear all rounder and if I had to chuck them all away and keep one, this would easily be it.

Purchased this tmfor my belt pouch. Very bright and well made. Simple to use and feels like quality.

If you are thinking of getting a torch, look no further than the PD35. It is a fantastic torch that produces light output well above a torch of similar size and price. It also has a fantastic build quality, with different light setting to boot, including a strobe function. It lights my garden fully even in the depths of winter, this torch punches well above its weight, if you buy one you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic torch I've used every day since I got it. Lowest modes are perfect for most everyday tasks and if you really need illumination the 850 lumen max turbo mode is literally blindingly bright and will throw like a monster illuminating clearly a good 60 meters infront of you easy. Tough, durable, waterproof, high throw with a great belt compatible carry pouch.. what else do you need?

Not that good really. My friend has the Led Lenser x7r, which is 500 lumens, and it absolutely blows this away so 950 lumens? no way. Had the torch just 2 days and then the lens seemed to burn out in some way, the beam had a yellow hue around it and became dimmer. When I recharged the batteries the effect was the same. I had an older model called the LD20 and the same thing happened to that one and ended up in the bin, that was before I knew you could send them to China for repair free of charge, except for postage. Have a P7.2 now seems just as powerful and more versatile torch.

After spending a lot of time researching decent torches, I selected this product because it seemed to pack a punch for the money and it has a number of settings, which is useful. Would buy again.

I must admit I use this to make my way to the outhouse at a cottage in the Stockholm archipelago. It is a wonderful powerful little light which keeps me from disturbing the "hug orms", biting snakes.

Hugely bright - on the top settings far too much so for most situations, but the different settings give a brightness for every situation. Excellent quality, lightweight. Very impressed.
