USB C Cable Easily Breaks
It is a good stand, but the electronics side isn't made very well. I have went through 2 where the USB C Male Connector has fallen off. Amazon replaced the first one, but the 2nd one would not be replaced by Amazon or the vendor. The vendor wanted me to purchase another one.

works great for a laptop, too!
What a great design. This is about half the size/weight of another stand we have in the house, but just assturdy. I'm using it with a laptop and there's no movement. AND it has the USB hub built in so it's super convenient.Plug in the cable - I like the "L" shape adapter -- and the hub glows with blue light. The PD passthru works great too, so i plug power into the hub instead of into my device, meaning I can just have the one USB-C cord into the device to do both data and power. One thing I noticed, the hub doesn't do anything without the attached cable being plugged into a USB-C smart host. I guess it makes sense, the data has to come from the host so essentially the power does, too. In other words the PD only goes to the main host device attached to the attached cord, the other ports are activated and powered by your device. Not a big deal I'm sure, just a small twist I've experienced that may be a minor irritation. The next step up from this would include an HDMI port (or two!) on the hub, I'm not sure why they didn't do that except maybe to keep the cost down. PD passthru on the downstream USB would have been nice also but this stand+hub is at a good price point (with a big coupon right now!) and extra smart electronics would just add to the cost. The "fingers" that hold the device from sliding off are really nice silicone - NO worries about scratching anything.

Shipping error
Product works as expected however the package it ships in is too small which causes the main cable in the back to be bent tot he point of tearing off. In the long run this can be an issue making the stand inoperable.

Great HUB/Stand it just has one big flaw...
Overall this is a great Hub/Stand combination! It is rigid sometime to adjust and can be annoying at first, but you come to appreciate it when you use it to hold your 14" Macbook Pro as it provides more stability and varying angles. All the ports work as advertised and when I use it with my iPad pro, the PD ports work flawlessly. I do like how I can fold it up and throw it in my suitcase/luggage when I travel and know I have a quick easy remote setup at a hotel, cafe or satellite office. Great silver finish to make it pair with Apple products nicely.I also like the build and quality of it except for one flaw. In the manufacturing of this product is the white cord that comes off the back of the hub/stand and connects to your device. As pointed out in the RED ARROW in my first picture, the wire is crimped so bad during shipping that it almost brakes. This can easily be solved by adding a second USB-C port and supplying the connecting USB-C cable as an attachment, not permanently affixed to it. I can see how this can save money in production but if this cable stops working the entire unit would have to be sent back to be repaired or replaced. So inspect yours carefully when it arrives.+ Silver Finish+ Stable and Sturdy with Ipad or Macbook+ Power pass thru capable+ Portable+ Good Value ( just check main cable when it arrives)- Main cable could fail over timeHope this was helpful!

Precision made lightweight foldable stand with integral USB-C hub
i have used the Stand for a 10" Kindle fire and an iPad Pro 12.9". The wired USB-C connector of the Stand was plugged into the USB-C connector on the iPad. The power from a 100W supply was plugged into the PD port of the Stand. A wired keyboard and mouse could have been plugged into the USB 2.0 connectors or the receiver for wireless versions could be used in the USB-A 2.0 port. Of course the other option is to use Bluetooth connections for the keyboard and mouse. The simplest is to use the electronic keyboard on the iPad and since it has a touchscreen your finger as the mouse. If only the PD port is used then there are three ports left for other devices. The fast USB-C port can be used for a disk drive. I connected a 2TB SSD to that port and still had two slower speeds left for any other devices I want to connect. The joints are very tight so it is hard to make adjustments to the height and angle of the stand. This is very good because the configuration will be fixed and not subject to shifting by accident. The manufacturer says that it should loosen up slightly after changing the hight 10,000 times.A nice feature is that it is collapsible for storage. I find it more structurally rigid than my keyboard case. I prefer using the stand at home, while the keyboard case is more convenient for travel.

Sturdy and versatile stand that can be used with multiple devices
This stand is great, it connects with usb-c and is compatible with a large array of devices. This was great to use in conjunction to my desktop I could even connect the devices together. I tried an Ipad, Android tablet and a windows computer and it connected instantly. The power direct charging is a huge plus. The stand is pretty hefty but that makes it pretty stable, it is able to hold my laptop without a problem. I've had it for a while and it has remained steady and sturdy. One downside is that I am unable to use it for an Amazon fire tablet, I think that is due to the tablet though since all other devices have worked great.
