This is a simple device. Just look at it and you know almost all you need to know. The things you can't see: The padding that protects the top of the feet is sufficient to make use comfortable. The clamp grips the post well and does a fine job of securing the plates to the device.

Can't remember how many times I've bought from this brand, maybe 3 or 5. So far we have been pleased every time. This piece of welded equipment feels REALLY solid. The padding was a concern as some reviewers pointed out. It's indeed on the hard side but it also feels quite solid. We tried with shoes on and it's been quite acceptable. Maybe on bare feet it will be a problem but we don't think to do that.The best is, it works on both me and my husdand's feet, so we both can use it. Overall, a good purchase again.

I must say this is built like a rock and I'm not worried that this won't last for a long time. It takes a little time to get use to how to position your feet but it gives a good stretch in the needed area. I would say the collar is not the best and I would recommend getting a better one. I already had a good collar and I'm using that instead of the one it came with.

Cool product idea. Kneesnovetoes turned me on to it. Unfortunately though, you have to use it upside down in order to keep the weights from sliding off. The collar that is supposed to hold them on is no where near strong enough to hold anything over 10 lbs.

At the time of writing this review, this tib bar costs $99.99The most important part is to know this is for Olympic plates. Make sure you measure your plate hole diameter.As for the tib bar itself, it's great. This isn't like any other piece of equipment I have in my home gym. The work out I get from this is unique from anything I am used to doing and man am I ever sore after doing it. It does take a little while to get used to, and if you put on too much weight too soon it may make you sore where the bar rests against your legs, and like any workout you may over exert yourself.The bar is high quality. It comes as one unit, fully welded and ready to use. Inspecting the welds shows a good quality control. It's free from burs and imperfections that may cause cuts, scrapes and damage to your skin and breaks in the equipment. The bar is comfortable to use, and does not fatigue your joints to use. I have size 9 feet and the wife has size 6 feet and both of us are able to use this with no issues, with shoes on.I'm happy we got this. I'm excited to see the increased definition and to mix up my workouts.

The collar slips quite easily, it makes it so when you are doing the curl, the weights slide around and hit each other making a loud noise. It makes the exercise pretty annoying, I haven't used mine for that long, but I'm concerned after a while if the collar wears our, it might come off altogether. FIND ONE WITH A SAFETY PIN if you can.Pretty sturdy and solid, good build quality, maybe except for the collar. I would recommend using shoes with this on, because of it's shape, it doesn't grip very well when barefooted.Quite pricey, maybe I'm underestimating the manufacturing cost of these things, since it seems every company that makes them (at least in the west) sets a pretty high price. So maybe it's more reasonable than I think, but I'm sure this thing wouldn't be too hard to weld together yourself.
