When I received this hat, I wasn’t sure it was flattering on me (it has a smaller profile than the fedoras I usually wear.) But then I gave it a test run and wore it, as I thought the color (dark blue/navy) would look nice with a particular outfit. Since then, I have been planning outfits around this hat!It is exactly as pictured, very cute with sharp lines. The blue is lovely, and the hat makes for very nice outfits with (for example), a floral skirt with some blue in the pattern, and a solid top, or any outfit with darker denim. It also was cute with a black sundress- the blue offsetting the black made for a classy summer look. It’s fun and different and I like it a lot.

Received my hat today, tried it on, exactly what I wanted...cannot wait to wear! I had a black boater about 25 years ago for which I paid a pretty penny...looked for it recently and it was nowhere to be found so I decided to order a new one in advance of upcoming jazz fest when I might want to wear it. Lots of boaters available on Amazon, but thankfully I ordered this one which fits the bill in every way. Amazing price, sized for an average woman’s head...looking forward to wearing. IMO, this hat needs to be taken care of as it is structured in keeping with the nature of a boater, so I will not be throwing it into a suitcase unprotected, however it came in a box which can be used if it needs to be packed...Looking forward to wearing this in the summer with some of my dark colored outfits...highly recommend if you are looking for this style of hat.

Like the color of the hat and decided to keep it, but it runs large. Will use some felt inside to fit it better to my head.

I have four of these hats (brown, black, beige and red) and like that they are small and comfortable. The last one that I ordered was not packaged well and was crushed. It was easily reshaped with my steamer but the hat band came off in the process of reshaping it. Not a big deal for me since it's an easy fix with hot glue.

Falling apart upon arrival

Nice sturdy material. I decorated it up with velvet, vintage jewelry pieces and flowers. So cute!

I bought this to wear my own custom "mary poppins" inspired outfit. The straw material was lovely. The size was perfect (considering I have a large head and wnted it to look "small" on my head). The rim was a huge fail for me... In the picture online, it shows the rim as tough, flat, and straight. However, as soon as I took it out and wore it, the rim was flimsy and wavy. If that's the look you're going for, then this will work for you.

Poor quality, and doesn't look like the picture. The top middle of the hat sticks up where the row joins together and won't flatten down. Brim is floppy and 'straw' is made from nylon. It was flattened into a plastic bag and amazon enevelope. Don't waste your money.

Poor quality and shape. If I do wear it, I'll have to try steaming into shape.Top sticks uplike a point... Doesn't sit flat.Disappointed.
