HOO HA! Maths game Times Tables 7,8 and 9 (age 10-11)KS3

I bought these for our nine year old daughter because I had read they were effective at getting kids to learn their times tables. Sadly the game is just common and garden pelmanism, which is fine for 5-6 year olds, but kids at Y4 may find boring. Each card has the sum and answer on them; even if one of the pair was the sum, and the other was the answer, it would have been a lot more interesting, and hold her attention longer.The cards are also quite difficult to pick up, so you have to slide them off the table and they rarely go back in their original places, which is rather defeating the point of pelmanism. Play Hoo Ha on a carpet if possible.Considering the quality of the cards, and lack of game development, the price is too steep. You would be better off buying 100 blank playing cards and a sharpie and making your own game.I also bought the 3,4 and 6 set, which contained the wrong cards, sent back for replacement, but yet to hear anything after 12 days which is a bit disappointing.

This is basically a small set of cards which is what I expected - quite expensive for what it is but if it works then well worth the money. However, I was dissappointed that the set only goes up to 10 x 7, 10 x 8 and 10 x 9, there are no 11 x or 12 x which is what I would expect. However, I have written these ones on the hoo and ha cards so hopefully this will work just as well.

We played this with our 10 year daughter a couple of times but she is not interested. The game is better aimed at younger children as it is along the lines of playing Snap! Product now resigned to the car boot stall!

Suitable for the children to play and learn the times tables.

I work in a primary school and ordered this for my classroom. The kids absolutely love it. It’s a great team game and a brilliant tool to aid them with their times tables.

My grandchildren & my husband & myself enjoyed playing this educational game! Granddaughter was struggling with her tables but conquered them with the help of Hoo Ha :) great way to learn tables!

Almost anything that helps my grandchildren with tables is welcome. I am sure that on Christmas Day this will be grreatly appreciated. Wouldn't mind going on email mailing list for other things that are sold. Many thanks, Maria
