I ordered both the brown and the burgundy vests because I thought the brown would look good, and my wife thought the burgundy would look good on me, so at the price they were offered for, I figured, why not? Get them both. These are fantastic. Well made, no loose stitching, somewhat heavy material but not so heavy as to make you sweat indoors with it on. Classy yet casual. The burgundy one had a less pronounced tweed pattern than the picture on the site but the brown one was exactly as pictured. For size reference I am 5'9" 165 lbs 32" waist and the large was a perfect fit. Very pleased with this purchase and will probably order a few more colors.

I assumed this would be small and ordered up a size. I was wrong. The vest is a nice wool/poly mix, but is substantial enough to provide some warmth.

Heavier than expected. Secure buttons. Great color. Feels like it will last a long time.

Like the chart that showed the measurements. They worked out wonderfully. I had a friend from my Blue Lodge ask me where I got it from. I told him Amazon and would give him the link. I like the professional professor look with the curve cut in at the center and large buttons and tweed fabric. Great Blue color. We might get all the officers of our Blue Lodge order these.

The vests are an interesting vintage style with a nice wool-blend material. I washed them to make them more supple. Pockets are handy.

Adds enough warmth that you don't need an overcoat on winter days. Deep enough to be useful pockets for keys & what not. The button up breast pocket lets you secure items you don't want falling out. In my opinion this vest hits the right note between casual dress and something more formal. I was pleased enough w the first one I purchased that I bought a couple more.

Love the vest.Saw a few reviews mentioning imperfections... It's material, that's gunna happen. One person even sent it back for a few loose threads...? Doesn't make sense to wait on a lengthy replacement due to imperfections that are [from regular wear] going to happen anyway. Mine arrived perfect, had a few snags after a few weeks, but not being a useless whiny consumer I did what 99% of our ancestors did and fixed it myself.Anyway, buy it!
