Big and cardboard - great for pretend play
I got this for a friend’s boy cause he LOVES fire trucks! From what I heard he plays with it allllll the time. It’s cardboard so it’s as sturdy as it can be... it’s big enough for me to crawl in (I’m 5’3”) and play with him. He likes to bring his toys in there and play pretend! The images look great! It is big so make sure you have space for it!

Such an awesome playhouse, but dang hard to assemble!
Ok, so I have to say that my 2yo LOVES this playhouse but it took my poor husband a really long time to build (for context, he can assemble 500 piece IKEA furniture in less than an hour like its nothing!). Not only that, but he also spent time reinforcing the tabs, corners and bends with bonding film and duct tape, because every tab is on the verge of separating or collapsing. So, it's well worth the price and the play time for your little one - just be patient with the assembly!

A fun play area for a firetruck-loving child
This is really cute. I'd give it five stars based on my grandsons' (ages 2 1/2 & 4 1/2) reactions to it but four stars because the edges of the cardboard seemed sharp. I used packing tape around the windows' edges to prevent potential paper cuts. Although it comes with instructions, I didn't actually find them until after I'd assembled it. Assembly is mostly intuitive and I was able to put it together without help from anyone else. I knew it was cardboard so didn't really expect it to last much longer than the 10 days my grandsons were visiting. It definitely was showing signs of wear and tear when they left but not enough to consider it unusable. I took it apart and have stored it flat. I'll reassemble it next time they come for a visit (they live a long way away so, sadly, they only visit once or so each year).

so firetruckin' fun
perfect indoor toy for 4-year-olds. surprisingly sturdy - has been played with now for at least 3 months and still standing strong. especially love the interior dashboard detail, and serves as a great canvas for stickers and drawing. honestly did not expect it to be so engaging. if there's one downside, it's that it takes a little patience to put together, preferably with 2 adults and no kids around.

Love our fire truck play house!
Bought this for my sons second birthday as an activity during the party! We brought it outside and all of the kids at the party played with it the entire time! It was such a hit that now it is in my sons room and he goes in it every morning. Not the easiest to assemble- took two adults an hour, but well worth the labor!

Can’t wait to tell everyone about this find!
Want to ruin a perfectly good Friday? If so, then this product is for you! What a high quality, easy to build kids toy. I’m sure it will last us for years to come. I can totally see why the majority of buyers have rated this product 5 stars. The game begins with a hide and seek for the directions. Be sure to set a timer, there’s no way you will beat it is they are very hidden! Also, whatever your first language is, these directions are not in it so be prepared for some fun translating. Additionally, make sure you are a petite adult as you will need to climb inside the product for many of the steps. Don’t forget to hire a babysitter for the assembly. This will take hours of focus. Date night anyone?! There’s another round of hide and seek with one of the final parts “O”. Spoiler alert: it’s built into a throw away piece! Unfortunately I can only give this product 1 thumb up though as my other is covered in paper cuts. Please note, wine is not included. Be sure to by a couple bottles, you will definitely need them when you are done.

Buyer Beware!
We purchased this firetruck for my 2 year old as a Christmas present. My wife went to bed early on Christmas Eve and left me to assemble the toy, assuming it would only take me a few minutes, boy was she wrong.First let me state, if you choose to buy this toy, DO NOT assemble it in front of your children. I have built many toys for my son over the last two years and this by far was the worst experience thus far. I can confidently say that anyone will lose their temper and possibly let a few choice words fly during its construction. As many reviewers have stated this is made of cardboard. The person who designed this product obviously has never actually put it together. It's a nightmare. The instructions (which aren't even stapled together meaning the first time you pick them up the pages scatter, should have been a hint of what was to come) have you connect the two side pieces and back pieces first. To do this you must fold tabs along the connecting edges of each panel and fit each tab into a designated notch. This may sound easy, but I can assure you it is not. Each tab has wings on either side that must be perfectly folded inward in order to even have a chance of making it into the corresponding notch. This means that every single tab has to be prepped and slightly inserted into the right notch if you have any hope of connecting the panel. If you are slightly off the panel will not come together. To make matters worse any adjustment causes the entire panel to come apart.Credit to the designer who thought that the firetruck needed a dashboard and working cardboard steering wheel, despite the fact that the rest of the firetruck's interior is plain white. Assembling this piece was easily the worst part. The large exterior panels have to be folded in half to ship. At this point in its assembly the firetruck has no roof or floor. Without either of these pieces the firetruck has no structural integrity. This made installing the dashboard and steering wheel nearly impossible as they have to fit into a very precise place. One little bump causes the rear panel to fold inward ensuring that you no longer have space to fasten the dashboard. Fun.Then in what can only be described as a purposeful slap to the face, the instructions have you install a brace under the rear panel. Had this panel been installed at any point prior to dashboard installation it would have made the job of assembling this nightmare much easier. Don't even get me started on the steering wheel. Not only is incredibly difficult to install, but my son tore it off within the first five minutes of playing with the toy.Final thoughts, my son loves this thing. I doubt it will last very long as its made out of cardboard, but for now he's enjoying it. It's flimsy, it's horrible to build, and every edge has to be rubbed down with wax to ensure it doesn't give your child a papercut, but other than that I guess it is an okay thing to buy.

Good buy
The kids loved it. That was the one toy they played with the most after Christmas. Took some time to assemble. The steering wheel could be better. It came off but nothing a little clear tape can’t fix.

Sturdy and fun
My two year old loves it! Now that he is 2 and a half, he has been drawing pictures on the inside and loves being inside this thing. It has held up to 6 months of use!
