Nice little unit
Considering its size and cost this unit has very good sound quality, I really wasn't expecting much from something with little in built speakers in a unit that's suspended under a kitchen cabinet but actually its quite impressive. Ok so the plug in power adapter is the 2 pin kind but most people have a 2 pin adapter lying around somewhere or they are easy to find and cheap to purchase if not. I found the unit very easy to install and needed only a small hint from the simple manual to get it fully setup and running, well pleased with this purchase.

Has all the radio and playback featutres needed
This appears and feels like a quality product.Was easy to install but took a while to learn the controls and set up. But once familiar works well.Remote small and buttons not precise for big hands to use so prefer control via front panel buttons.Sound is Ok but not the best fidelity. Use mainly in DBS mode, and having tried manual and preset tone modes output slightly muffled. Could be installed position as speakers on the sides and unit is in a corner.

Would recommend this to every one
Brought this for our kitchen, instead of have a CD player and a separate Dab radio. I was looking at all different variations of these. Glad I brought this one. Does everything I want it to do. Sound isn't bad quality either. Has some sound settings i,e pop, jazz, classical and so on. Not had chance to play with all the settings, but from what I have played with works great.It does come with a little ariel, which has a magnet built on it (stuck it to the boiler) and seems to pick up FM and DAB.Haven't tried the Aux or USB but cd and radio work and sound fine (not tinny). Handy little remote control as well.Having used it for a couple of weeks, I wish I had brought it before. I'm very impressed and would recommend this product to anyone who is thinking of getting a radio for the kitchen.Fast delivery, I cannot fault the product or the company that supplies it.Thank you

Nice tidy unit with simple controls
Nice tidy unit with simple controls. The digital radio output is excellent, but I have a problem with the CD player. The reproduction is superb, except that every now and then the output stops, and the timer stops, and then carries on. This is the same on old CDs and new CDs. I am going to return the product to the manufacturer.

Soundmaster under cabinet kitchen radio
The sound reproduction of this radio extremely poor and not at all pleasant to listen to. There is no way to adjust the poor sound and was an utter waste of money. The CD sound reproductionI is good. Overall, I am rather surprised at the quality as it was, according to the packaging, made in Germany. The remote control is of little use. At almost £100.00 this gets a very poor rating from me.

Sounds Terrible -- All Treble, No Bass, No way to adjust Tone
Sound quality is extremely poor. There are no Tone controls, so you can't adjust the sound. Let me ask you a question. Do you normally set your sound equipment to Maximum Treble and Minimum Bass? If so, then you will enjoy the thin tinny sound produced by this unit. VERY irritating to listen to. I bought this as a gift for my spouse. Instead of thanking me, she gripes constantly about the poor sound quality. I'm going to see if we can return the unit. If we cannot return it, then it's going into the rubbish bin. Absolutely the worst radio sound I've ever heard, and no way to adjust the tone quality.

Very good service from BuyCleverStuff
The radio/CD unit was compact and good looking and neatly fitted under a cupboard over a worktop in our kitchen. Although a fault was found with FM reception and the remote control on the unit provided this was dealt with quickly and efficiently by BuyCleverStuff and a replacement was tested and couriered to us within a few days. The faulty unit was returned via the same courier and the replacement proved to be a very good addition to our kitchen with clear reception and good quality sound. A good value product and excellent service from BuyCleverStuff.

Good purchase
The dab radio and cd player was received on time and the quality of the player was also good. Fitting was quite easy and the sound quality is fine for built in speakers. Freed up the kitchen work top and I would recommend this player on the results of my purchase.

Radio "da cucina" non esattamente economica, è perfetta per essere attaccata sotto ad una credenza in modo da occupare poco spazio. Perfettamente funzionante in ogni suo aspetto e fa come detto il suo dovere. Unica pecca il display un pochino piccolo che rende difficile leggere l'orario.Tre stelle poiché trovo il prezzo un pochino alto, nonostante l'innegabile qualità del prodotto; e perché l'orologio continua a sfasarsi, perdendo qualche minuto ogni giornata

Ton zu dumpf
Das Unterbauradio im allgemeinen gut. Mir gefällt nur der Ton ( Klang ) nicht so richtig. Er ist bisschen dumpf.
