good quality, and good price point.
This is a one of the times where I was happiest to shop online:Description:I received exactly what was described, a 24" x 36" (inside of the frame, if you didn't know) Expresso Walnut (Black Wood for those Ikea folks), in a very appropriate time. The items that I received where in great shape (I bought 2), came with their own mounting hardware, and were a snap to install (not hard for a single person). Please note that this frame does NOT come with glass, it uses a clear piece of plastic like the kind available at hardware stores. This has several advantages/disadvantages, which I'll describe later. The inside edge was just enough to hold a close to perfect 24"x36" print without having to fight it much.Pros:- Good quality look - surprisingly, the paint job is solid, and the frame itself looks and feels very sturdy.- Uses Clear Plastic instead of Glass panel - to expand on this, it's very difficult to tell this by eye. I doubt you could tell looking at mine unless I had told you already, or you actually reached up and felt it. also good at resisting scratches!- Lightweight - this is mostly thanks to the plastic panel, but I would still only drive mounting hardware into studs and nothing else!- Securely shipped - both of these came wrapped together in what I would describe as very secure and safe shipping containers. Little tough to get this guy appart, but over-all was received without a scratch or mark or any kind.- Came with own mounting hardware - this guy comes with nails, hanging wire, arm brackets for the frame, and everything else you need to hang the frame either portait or landscape.- Easy install - can be an easy one-man (or woman) job. even easier for two.Cons:- The Clear Plastic instead of glass panel - gives it an over-all cheap feeling, but this was only durring installation. If you can't tell, then you won't think twice about this. I do believe that in direct lighting though, or if you have a light source pointing at or near it, it does cast a pretty hard glare making it difficult to see it's contents more so than if it were glass. The Plastic does also have some flex to it, meaning, if you're not holding the artwork flat on a wall, it will flex in or out just slightly. Fingerprints also show up like crazy on this. The plastic is removable, so if you wanted to replace it with a sheet of glass, you could do just that, but personally, I was fine with it.- Cardboard backed - after fussing with it for a short-while trying to get my art inside the frame without any debris, I noticed that the cardboard backing was so tightly placed in the frame that it was loosing it's structural integrity. Nothing that would show from looking at the front, but if you keep changing your art in this frame frequently, that may present a problem and might want to replace it, which you very well could.- Shipping box was a pain to open - Although this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it was difficult to try to open the box which was several layers of cardboard, without knowing how deep to cut into the boxes without damaging the frames. Just play this one safe when unpacking, and keep your cool throughout your "chip away" process.Other Thoughts:- When installing, make SURE you remove the PEEL-OFF film-ish protector from BOTH SIDES of the clear plastic. it will look like crap otherwise.- When hanging, make sure you drive the hanger into a stud in the wall, not just anywhere you feel like it. Yes you can use other things to make it grip the drywall, but I guarantee that it'll fall sooner or later, and it'll be a lot tougher job than dealing with just a nail hole.- Caught a splinter running my fingers along the back-inside edge of the frame when I was feeling the finish on the other side with my thumb. I guess it was a stupid idea, but it definitely got me good. The other frame had no splinter issues with the finish job on either side.Conclusion:- Would I recommend this product to a friend? Without hesitation. The over-all look of this frame with the artwork I have inside of it sings all it's praises. This is truly a case of the pros outweigh the cons. And for this price-point, it's going to be a tough contender to topple. The only people I feel that wont be %100 sure of their purchase are the super art folks that want nothing but the best, you'll probably want something of higher quality and craftsmanship, but you'll be paying a few hundred more bucks than this guy.

FIVE STARS FOR THE PRICE PAID... HERE'S WHY!!
Have you ever had professional framing done? It can cost a small fortune, and I've paid hundreds of dollars for custom frames MUCH smaller than the 24x36 size of this one. But when I wanted to frame a $5 art poster that I happened to love, I turned to Amazon for something a lot more affordable. Honestly, I was very hesitant to order a frame of this size at such a low price point, for fear that what I would receive would be absolute crap. But after reading so many favorable reviews, I decided to take a chance and I was glad that I did... if you keep your expectations calibrated to the price point of this frame, it's a five star buy. Here's what you should expect:First, do not expect to receive a five star quality frame of this size for less than $50. That's totally unrealistic. But you will get a good quality frame in which the compromises made to achieve this price point are all within reason. Just the specially designed, heavy duty corrugated packaging to ship this frame and have it arrived undamaged--which mine did--must cost quite a lot.Second, the frame itself is light beige MDF (medium density fiberboard), which is a very sturdy choice, and its surface has a vinyl covering in either the wood grain or solid color that you ordered. This may sound "cheap" but the result actualy looks very good--I ordered "Espresso Brown" and it's indistiguishable from the brown/black wood color of some IKEA shelving that surrounds it. The naked eye would not know that it's not real wood.Third, the shipping box is labeled "GLASS" in bold letters on all sides, but that's only to insure that the shippers will handle the box with great care. Smart move by Art To Frames! You would never get glass of this size at this price point, nor would you want it due to issues with weight, fragility and the greenish color cast of cheaper glass. What you do receive is crystal-clear acryllic, which has better clarity and greater scratch resistance than the polystyrene material often used by even cheaper frames of this size. The acryllic sheet will look AWFUL out of the box, until you remove the clear protective film layers on both sides of the sheet before mounting, which protect against scratches. Both sides of my acryllic sheet were completely scratch free, once I had removed the film and cleaned both sides of it with paper towels and Windex.Fourth, mounting is very straight-forward: put the acryllic sheet in the frame, lay the poster on top of it, secure it with the included corrugated cardboard backing sheet, then fold down metal tabs positioned all around the backing sheet to hold it tightly in place. This is an inexpensive solution, but it gets the job done. If the poster you're framing has any signifcant value, you're going to want to replace the corrugated backing board that comes with this frame with an acid-free archival backing board from your local art supply. Finally, you attach the hanging hardware, which is included as a complete set, including wire and wall hanger... nice touch! As a guide, my poster hangs horizontally (the longest sides are top and bottom), and I found that screwing the hangers into the frame 9 inches from the top gave me a really nice "hang" with the frame laying completely flat against the wall. One warning: I would avoid using the supplied hanging wire, or I would strip the plastic coating from it. Here's why: when you've threaded hanging wire through the hanger loop, the traditional way to secure it is to repeatedly twist the end of the wire tightly against itself. This seeemed to work fine with the supplied wire until I did a security test before actually hanging the poster on the wall. When I lifted the frame from the center of the wire, as it would be when hanging on a wall, the plastic coating on the wire proved too slippery and the twisted ends began slipping out. This would ultimately send your frame crashing to the floor or whatever was below it. So, you can either strip the coating from the supplied wire, or buy uncoated hanging wire at your local hardware store. I happened to have some uncoated wire, which quickly solved the problem. All in all, I'm thrilled with the way my framed poster looks on my wall, and it has exceeded all my expectations at the price point.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope you find in helpful in making a buying decision.

J'ai du attendre plusieurs mois avant de le recevoir pour finalement être déçu.. la qualité n'est pas au rendez-vous. Il y a des rayures sur le cadre. Bref, j'ai payé beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité du produit.
