SPOT ON WITH EASY TO READ DISPLAY
What's not to like 5-stars. Great, easy to use scales with over-sized display for in your face reading. Another great Etekcity product, with really accurate read-out. Modern design which will compliment most bathrooms. Comes well packaged with batteries already installed, remove the contact tap and the scales are ready for use. Automatic on/off activated by use of scale and turns off around 15 seconds later. The quality is really good with tempered safety glass, so no worries about breakage during normal use. Sensor pads on the bottom of the scales record your weight in either kilos or lbs. The soft senor pads also double as a safety feature for non-slip grip. Switch on bottom of scales for choosing one or the other. Do not use on a soft surface as the reading will not be accurate. Had a promo code for this product, so really happy with the end results. Yes, I highly recommend these scales. Etekcity seems to be producing really good items these days, 5 stars.

Are These Scales Worth Buying ?
Smart looking scales, having a 8mm glass platform gives them weight and adds to their quality. Worked first time out of the box with the read out being easy to see. Button control makes it simple to change read out from Kg to Stones and lbs, as I'm a "little ancient" now, I chose Stones. The accuracy is good, as it read out Stones with Ibs as part of a Stone i.e. 14.6 would be 14 Stone 8lbs, (this would be as close to accurate as you would need to be for "home use"). As I've only just had the scales I've no idea as to the length of service they will give but if its only two to three years, I would consider them to be a good buy at their price.

Brilliant
I bought these with the Etekcity Digital Kitchen Scales as I wanted to lose weight and I can honestly say they are both fantastic. I have a really old set of scales the I never used, they were stuffed at the back of a cupboard and I never honestly cared but since starting this diet I wanted to do it right and I have to say I love these scales. First off they look fantastic on the bathroom floor, sleek and modern I don't feel the need to hide them which means being there in the open they get used. Second they are accurate, I had read a lot of reviews for this and other scales before buying these and people stated the same makes were not accurate but these actually are, I wanted to check this so in the space of half an hour I stepped on and off these like 10 times and got the same results each time (didn't expect much difference in the space of 30 mins lol). Best thing about these is that they are sensitive enough to also weigh my cat on, like me she is a little on the tubby side and the vet says she needs to lose weight too so I am glad I can keep track of the both of us with these. The tape measure that comes with it is also a really helpful tool when you are serious about losing weight. I would highly recommend these to everyone.

Good, Basic Scale
If you want a set of scales that just do the basic job of displaying your weight at a very competitive price point, these should do you very well. They’re compact, have an excellent display and seem to be pretty accurate.According to a much more expensive Soehnle scale, I weigh 66.2Kg. The Etekcity scale shows me at 66.6Kg. So, if the Soehnle is accurate, the Etekcity has an error of around 0.6%, which is quite acceptable. However, if you use the scale repeatedly in quick succession, you often get a slightly higher reading. I think this is a function of the strain gauge because it settles back to the previous reading OK if a few minutes elapse between each use. This is why I’ve docked a star, which is really a bit niggardly. If I could have given 4.5, I’d have done so.The included tape measure is surprisingly well-designed. It’s curved to fit your waist conveniently, so it’s very simple to use.

I bought these to go on a black floor with silver grout and they look brilliant. They seem very consistent and give a reading very quickly in large numbers which stays when you get off for a while. When I first got them they seemed to wobble a tiny amount on the floor. Don't get me wrong, the construction is very firm, but it must be difficult to get the four legs exactly in the same plane. However this goes as soon as you step on them and I did find a tiny cork pad in the box which I presume is to stop that by extending a leg. Anyway, my tiles are slightly non-flat and they sit very firmly without the pad. You cannot go wrong buying these. No gimmicks, just stand on the scales, no tapping first, and they just work.

Great scales
I am a big lad and for the best part of the last 15 years I have never been interested in weighing myself to see what I weighed but for the most part of it I always knew it was far too much. The day came where I felt enough was enough and got my head in the right space to diet and diet properly. I vowed not to weigh myself and just keep going until I felt better in myself. Eventually curiosity as to whether I was losing anything got the best of me so I looked on Amazon for a set of scales and opted for these. Boy am I glad I did not only do they look the business but they are really well made and solid. A guy my size concerns himself with wondering if the scales will take his weight and reliably display my weight but they certainly do and they are very consistent with it's readings which with the push of a button changes from KG to stones and pounds. Overall they look great, have an amazing value for money price but most important of all they perform great. Oh and just in case you give a damn, I am losing weight.
