Final Fantasy XIV Online Starter Edition (PS4)

Recieved very quickly . Very fun game and brand new and sealed for a bargain price cant complain.

if you want to spend hours trying to log into this game because all of the ridiculous security, needing a one time password every time you log in, and registering is irritating as is... Also you have to buy a pass every month if you wish to play.. Worst money ever spent buying the game and buying a month pass... so bad I cut the risk and threw in the bin!!

I did not purchase via this store, but I have been playing FFXIV since 2013 and wanted to balance the reviews a little here.The first reviewer is complaining about a one-time password (two-factor authentication) which isn't mandatory and isn't required to log into the game. It's also worth noting that, while this is a subscription-based MMO, the developers work tirelessly to bring us regular storyline patches between expansions (every couple of months), regular updates to raids and dungeons (again, every couple of months if not more) and to give us enough content for that subscription (£8.99 monthly) to feel well-justified.Final Fantasy XIV has an engaging and moving storyline with likeable characters, hateable-yet-empathetic villains, and overarching themes reaching from the earliest days of 2.0 all the way into the current expansion. Its musical score is genuinely stunning, and if you don't believe *me* just go look at its redemption arc over on metacritic, how it has consistently beaten its own previous review with each expansion.It's a shame to see someone write this game off for things that are, frankly, not that unusual within MMOs. WoW is a sub-based game too. Servers don't pay for themselves, people. (Speaking of servers, this game is cross-platform. If your friends are on PC and you're on PS4, you can still play together.)

The other review is complaining about straightforward security systems in place for any subscription based MMO and the one time password isn't mandatory. Just thought I'd even out the average review somewhat.
