I used this kit for my photography shoot. I am quite pleased with the lighting settings and the overall package included in this reasonable price. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone looking for a DIY shoot even to use for professional publications later.

I’m so glad I bought these. Very easy to put together and set up. The lights are great. You can use the remote control easily to change the colours. They are exactly what I was looking for. I’ll be using them for creating videos, photography headshots & portraits, self tapes, my Twitch streaming and for when I’m drawing. Sturdier than I thought they would be. I love how they light up my room full of colour!

They do the job

I am really pleased with this set of two lights with two spare bulbs. They come with a handy bag to fit it all in, set up is very quick and easy. The front material just Velcro’s on to the bulb holder part. The stands are very lightweight so can be knocked over if you are not careful. The light tops can be put vertically or horizontally and have an angle adjuster to get the right position. They give a nice soft light and I have used effectively for portrait photography and to add lighting to live stream videos. I knocked off one star as one of the bulbs stopped working after a week of use, being on for around an hour each day. I bought this setup mainly for making videos for a YouTube channel.I needed something better than trying to get by with desktop lamps and this setup is perfect!I got the one with 4 LED lamps and these are VERY bright without any heat problems.The tripods are sturdy and perfect for indoor use but probably a bit too light for outdoor use without being held down.Overall I'm very pleased with the performance and price.

The light is not soft at all and when u look at the camera its flickery all the time I thought it’s normal but when I got another soft box the light was reallyyyy smooth and not flickery at all!! Do not buy this or you will be disappointed

Overall the quality of this softbox lighting kit is just ok its nothing special but I have seen and used far worst ones than this.If you are going to be using any kind of lights with a soft box you have to have a strong and sturdy light stand/tripod this is essential and unfortunately this is where this kits lets itself down the most. It is great that it comes with two light stands BUT these two are not the best quality I would say they are flimsy not very strong at all. You can extend them to a good height which is a bonus BUT when you do even if you have the legs fully extended the slightest of touches will knock them down so you WILL HAVE to use sandbags or something to help secure them.The two soft boxes again not the best quality but then again they are soft boxes so they do not really need to be top quality as long as they do there job and this I can say it does well you can control the direction of the light and no loss of light from the back or sides of the soft box. They both come with diffusers as you would expect but personally I am not seeing much difference with the light when I have them on or off it does not look much softer at all in my opinion.The lights are bright not the brightest I have ever used but then again I do like my lights really bright so for most people this will be great and I accept I am being fussy on this point. This is advertised as RGB LED lights and yes they are BUT there is no HSL or RGB controls/slider you are limited to fifteen colours that can be selected on the remote control but it is a good selection of colours so no complaints there.The LED lights are Edison lights so you just screw them in they are an usual size so something to keep in mind if your going to get this is, is how much are replacement bulbs unfortunately at time of writing this review the supplier has none available so I could not check.The remote control is responsive and you can control the lights fully with them, you get two in total one for each light but you can control both lights with either remote control so they could have gotten away with just supplying the one. One thing I will say you have to be in front of the light to use the remote control if you are standing behind or even to the side of the light it does not work.Comes with a bag to keep all the equipment in which is a nice bonus and I will have to say it again BUT you really need something to put the LED bulbs in first before putting them in this bag or even something to secure them in the bag. As having them in the bag loose with the lightstands is asking for trouble in my opinion and will end up breaking. The LED lights come in cardboard boxes but these boxes are too big to be able to put them in the supplied bag with the other equipment.Overall I would say this is a great starter softbox lighting kit but it is a bit on the expensive side I would personally say for the quality you are getting but it does work and you will get some great shot using them, if you are starting out in photography/videography and in no rush and can wait I would say you might be better off saving some more money and getting a better model.

Brilliant kit, nice and bright, easy to assemble and disassemble, not heavy duty like the expensive pro ones so would blow over if used outside but for home and studio use these are perfect. Having four bulbs included makes this set amazing value!

- on peut changer de couleur mais pas la temperature. C'est inutil pour la photo. Il faut maitriser la temperature. Je n'ai pas besoin de lampe rouge ou bleu.- la lampe n'eclairant pas par dessous, le reflecteur est inutil aussi.- je suis aussi dessus de l'intensité- enfin, une telecommande est pas util. J'ai juste besoin de boutons pour regler sur la lampe. C'est encore une element qui n'aura pas de pile au moment ou j'en aurais besoin.C'est un gadget pour jouer avec la lumiere mais pas pour de vrais photos.
