Be patient - it works slowly
These sticky traps do work, but give them time. The instruction that the trap ‘times out’ after 8 weeks is best ignored. I found the trap didn’t catch anything while it was supposed to be working, but soon started after that and was still catching moths months later. Just leave it till it gets covered with them and then replace the sticky cardboard piece. They’re very easy to use and they don’t smell at all, as far as I can tell. The little plastic holder hangs better than it stands, so if you’re standing it somewhere you may need to prop it up.

Good product
These refills seem to attract more moths than the other brands.

Herd immunity
Same problem with immunity being developed by Moth population in flat new strips have no effect whatsoever not even a single moth stuck to paper but at least one scene every day flying around. As in another review for sticky traps with pesticide I recommend the hand spray for carpet and hoover.

Using for 10 years - tried another brand but these considerably better
I have been using these for about 10 years as a preventative measure as clothes moths are quite prevalent in the area in which I live. At certain times of the year these catch a lot of moths and help to prevent any infestations.Simultaneously I tried another brand for a few years but theses Acana ones catch almost all of the moths, so although they are more expensive I only use these now.
