My Dog Appreciates This!
My poor Goldie would get rashes and hair loss where the buckle would touch her skin, so I tried a nylon collar with plastic clasps. That caused a painful, hair-losing rash as well. After I got her neck cleared up, and abandoned a collar altogether for a couple weeks, I discovered this collar. The padding is soft, and no metal touches her skin. She's been happily wearing this collar for 6 weeks without problems! It's a winner!

Padded and soft
We got these because they were padded. They did not stay the size when we tried to walk our dogs. If they pulled the least little bit, the collars would be able to slip off eaily.

Soft on my dog’s sensitive neck
My chihuahua mix has slight peach fuzz covering her neck and regular collars irritated her a LOT. This soft padded collar doesn’t irritate her. My only complaint is that it’s too wide; it’s disproportionate on her little body. A narrower collar for small dogs would be perfect.

Comfy collar; stiff Lock is stiff; length not adjustable
The media could not be loaded. Very comfortable padding and very durable. Large sturdy hook to attach a leash. Small attachment for hang tags. Nice set of color choices. Sadly, the plastic closure connects to a sturdy metal part, but it is just impossible for me to punch it tight enough to make it anything like a painless quick release. (Cheap collars are too loose, but this is the first collar I have ever bought where it literally hurt my thumb joint to pinch it tight enough to use. On means on, apparently. Because getting it off is really hard.The length of this collar apparently can't be adjusted. If it's possible, instructions should have come with it. As it is, the slide just glides back and forth. So does the latch, actually. The sturdy metal loop for attaching the leash rubs my dog's neck and bounces against her, so it is not all that comfortable, but the padding helps.Since this is the 'upstairs' collar, I am keeping it. I will cut off the large loop and see it to the outside to prevent that extra length of the collar from rubbing against my dog's neck. Sadly, this collar is clearly comfortable, but the designs flaws were unexpected. This isn't something I plan to buy again.
