Handy and Very Sharp
I got this to clip onto the shoulder straps of my water pack for quick-access emergency protection while hiking alone (in case my single use pepper spray misfires.) Let me tell you....it is very SHARP. I accidentally grazed myself with it and it drew blood. Its nice and lightweight, but heavy enough to impart confidence in its quality--all metal blade and handle. There's plenty of the flat edge is exposed so its not difficult to get a good grip to open it--which I appreciate as a person who doesnt have much for fingernails. So far it seems like a good value for the price.

While the blade doesn't “securely” lock in the open position, it does lock. It spring locks in both the open and closed positions as most do in only when closed. As long as you are aware and are not so ignorant that you can't tell which side of the blade is sharpened, you will never have to worry about it closing on your fingers. I've had plenty of folding knives that had liner locks or back locks that were unreliable. Now THOSE are unsafe because there's no spring to hold them open and they can freely close on your fingers or open in your pocket. If the spring wears out on this one I'll stop using it as an EDC but until then it's a great size and has a solid, well-made feel. I haven't had to sharpen mine yet but it comes with a very good initial edge. One odd thing is that it uses rivets only rather than any screws or bolts. This means that if/when things loosen up there won't be anything to tighten. It's possible a hammer could be used but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. There's also no way for a bolt to “back out” completely and get lost. I'll try to update my review if anything loosens or breaks but no one should consider a knife at this price point to be a “forever” knife. Since there is no side clip, many people will be looking at this one for the carabiner which is also well-made and easy to use.

Well Built and Suits My Purpose
My goal was to find a pocket knife that was small enough to carry around on my keychain, but big and strong enough to actually be useful. This knife fulfilled both of those goals. It is particularly easy to attach to (or unattach from) my keychain, thanks to the carabiner-type clip on its end. It's light enough and small enough that I barely notice it on a day to day basis, but when I need it, it does the job.*** Update ***After months now of having this on my keychain on a daily basis, I can say that it is probably the best pocketknife I've ever had. It is SOLID, the blade is SHARP, and when I need it it's right there. Very glad I acquired this knife!

Very nice but no safety close
Good product as advertised Only weakness is unless I don't know how to do it there is no safety stock. What I mean is when you open and let's say stick into a hard surface it seems it will close as there is no resistance and it will end up cutting yourself. Thank you.

I saw the reviews & decided to take a leap of faith. TRUST THESE REVIEWS! This is the one product where they aren't lying.Sharp blade that can be sharpened even more.Quick & easy keychain access via clip on.Small enough to go undetected anywhere.Large enough to defend yourself as a weapon.Functional to use in any situation. This is the best all around knife & the price means you can't pass it up. Just buy it & thank me later.

Perfect size
The media could not be loaded. This knife is the perfect size for my keychain. Small enough that I can carry it around without it being cumbersome, but big enough that it is still useful for almost anything I need. I almost gave this four stars instead of five because there is no locking mechanism that holds the knife open. But I decided to give it five because I’ve never come across a situation where I necessarily needed that locking mechanism. It almost makes it easier to use without it.

Great value!
Nice and light weight, but durable. Sharp. Nice carabiner clip and good construction.

Hazardous!
This pocket knife is cheap and simple. However no one said that it doesn’t have a lock mechanism to keep the blade in place so just pushing on it or hitting something wrong could cut your fingers. Beware
