Not exhilarating
The helmet's visor is cheap and its hinges don't move smoothly. So if the visor and its mechanics are cheap, one has to wonder about the quality of the rest of the helmet.I ordered white and I got red.

Seems to be a good value or the money
Despite some reviews i took a chance for the price.Fit and finish was very good.Nothing was broken, nothing fell off, nothing is loose or rattles.Helmet is much quieter closed than my $400 helmet.Impact liner seems to be of good dense quality.Sun Visor is nice, works perfectly, i can just wear normal glasses. And it stays up when not in use, as it is supposed to.Riding with the chin bar up is no problem, wind does not tug at your head.Do not ride with face shield up, it is not designed for that, raise the chin barAirflow in helmet is good, even fully closed. It is a light helmet, so it may not be for those who routinely feel the need to ride 100+ mph, for that nonsense i suggest sticking with $700 race helmets, or learn to walk.Helmet arrived triple boxed and the helmet itself was in a protective bag.I suggest keeping the bag to store the helmet in.Face shield and visor will seem to smudge easy at 1st from the protective film.just use a soft cloth and a little clean water with like a drop or 2 of dish soap, it takes the residue offbut doesn't etch the plastic.

It works. Very lite. Visor an face operate well. Bit snug.
Not bad, for the price.. but there is better. Got 2x modular helmets, within the 65-75$ range. This is not bad. The visit an face an shield all open and close fine. It's very lite. IMHO, runs avtad bit small. I sometimes were a hoody underneath, or the full face, head mask, .in it's a bit snug. Also if you have alot of hair. I went by the chart An measured my head, and it said medium. An that's rite on. But as I mentioned bi like a bit of room. Also it feels a bit.. shallow, like it doesn't come down last the jaw far enuff. I got another brand helmet, starts with and I, also got a size bigger. An it was within 5$. And it's alot better. The ve it's, kinda junky. Not that I care since I just crack the visor anyway. The matte black looks ok. Untill you touch it with a greasy hand, or bugs get on it. The modular front does open an close well. And the visor that flips up an down works great. Probably best thing about it is the retracting visor and it's action. And the quick clip chin strap. It looks a bit funny, but over all. It's a helmet. And better then nothing. Good helper too keep as a spare, and really light too carry if your bringing a passenger. An they need a helmet. And it's good enuff too use around town, shortervtrips. Something too throw on, wear, don't haveta worry if you drop it. It stays on your head pretty well even with the face open, at lower speeds. If you just need a helmet to get started, or for someone riding easy, local it's good. But there are better.

I went down today, Pretty good results!
So I was out riding in the desert today and I hit a sandy area that I was not expecting to find. I have to say I went down HARD about 40MPH off road.... this helmet held up VERY well. I messed up my leg and a shoulder... I smacked my head on the ground ... the helmet too the blow and didn't even leave me with a headache! I am VERY grateful for the protection this helmet provided. My helmet camera broke and my bike had to be brought home on a truck... but I am totally fine! Thank you so much for the value and protection this helmet provides. It is not the most scratch resistant and I had to get the face shield on properly as it was not from the factory, but if you look at it you will see how it should go and it is great after that! Again, thank you so much for an affordable and durable product. I was absolutely amazed that I didn't even end up with a headache as I am pretty susceptible to them. I will be buying another one to replace this one. It didn't take much damage... mostly cosmetic but for the price it is worth replacing to ensure a proper level of protection. I would highly recommend this helmet! The pics show the extent of the damage from landing on a large rock!

Well made for the money.
Seems to be a well made helmet. The sizing chart worked great for me. Spot on with the size.

For the price, the helmet is okay.
If you're expecting high fit and finish in a $65 helmet, you're not going to find it in any helmet in this price point. The helmet shell is of decent quality, the liner is okay, the clarity of both shields is good. There is more wind noise with the outer shield down than with it up. This is due to the sloppy way the gasket was installed. It is not glued in straight or evenly and there-for there are gaps at the top when the outer shield is closed. This allows the wind to blow through creating extra wind noise. The teeth that should hold the outer visor open are not big enough so the outer visor will close on you while riding, especially if you're in freeway traffic passing tractor trailers. I ride a sport tourer, so the bikes wind screen does a good job of directing the air over the rider. As such, during the day, I like to ride with the outer shield up. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to adjust the tension for the visor like there is on more expensive helmets. Again, this is a $65 helmet so you can't expect it to be perfect. This works well as a good, cheap backup helmet.
