I am very pleased with this purchase.I figured this couldn't work as well as described or everyone would be using it, right? Well, it really does work as well as described, and I don't understand why everyone isn't using it!Installation was very fast and very easy. After a few weeks it seems to really be holding everything rigid quite well.

I was little skeptical, but the steel is thicker than I expected and seems to work well. The top of the concrete was lower than the ground so the post rotted. I added 2 braces and build up the concrete to be above ground to prevent further deterioration. Some posts were not as bad, so I added 1 brace to the front and added concrete.Time will tell if this works. 2 of the posts are too far gone and I will do a proper replacement pulling the concrete up,.installing new post and concrete.If the posts are not too far gone, this system should work.I was also surprised that it was not that hard to hammer the brace in, I used only a regular hammer.

Used these to repair existing fence posts. Only needed two per post and easy to hammer into ground, be careful as they will bend a little.

I have 7 post falling down. Initially I bought 3 EZ Mender. But it only work well if the concrete below give you enough room. One of the Mender took me 5 hr to hammer half way due to the concrete. After few hundred hammering, it deformed badly. It also at an 30% angle and unable to fix. So I gave up. Ordered 8 post buddy. It is totally different experience. The hammering process is extremely easy (relatively). I can hammer 2 steel bar in 15 min using 8 lbs hammer. So all 7 post are now straight. Highly recommend.

I have about a dozen posts that need to be replaced, because whoever built the fence didn't slope the concrete away from the posts, and they rotted at ground level.After spending multiple hours on multiple days digging out one broken post and all the concrete, and then replacing it all, I thought there must be an easier way. I watched every youtube video I could find on the subject, and the only one that seems to address the problem directly, without difficult installation, is the Post Buddy. I got my first shipment yesterday afternoon, and was prepared with a cute little baby sledge hammer and appropriate screws. In less than 2 hours, I had installed 3 sets for 3 posts. Each set got faster. I am so jazzed about the Post Buddy that I ordered more today to complete the rehabilitation of my fence.This is a simple and ingenious product, and it's not sold in any retail store that I have seen. It makes the rotted posts super-solid again. I was dreading digging up multiple balls of concrete to replace all the posts, but now I can finish this project rapidly!
