Pro-Safe 18"" Convex Glass I/d Safety/security Mirrors

The mirror works fine and seems to be solidly built, and the bracket included would work fine for mounting on a pole or along the side of a wall, or possibly to a ceiling, but not in the corner were two walls meet.I bought this mirror to place into the inside corner of a rather narrow hallway that has a blind turn at the end out a door. The problem is that the bracket that came with this mirror was not long enough. I tried a few different ways to get everything to line up, tired bending the bracket, longer bolts, mounting to wall 'B' versus wall 'A', etc. In the end I tossed the bracket and machined a new one out of a few strips 1/4 inch aluminum, and a steel L bracket. I possibly could have gotten things to work if I was able to mount the mirror to the ceiling, but in my situation that was not an option (20ft ceilings 7ft door). I also could have mounted a block of wood or similar material to the wall, and then mounted the bracket to said block, but again not ideal for my situation, so a new bracket it was.

After a few near misses with the forklift, I decided I needed a mirror to see what might be coming around the corner of our supply hangar. This one fit the bill nicely. The crush proof packaging is well designed to prevent damage during shipment, a good thing since our handlers are prone to toss things around. It has a nice solid glass feel to it, not cheap plastic, and so far has not had any issue with static attracting dust. The image is very clear and bright with no distortion other than the fish-eye effect you want with a mirror like this. Good value for the money. "Think safety"

I searched around for many convex mirrors for the end of my driveway. There are many similar models but this particular one was a good price as some similar ones cost almost double what I paid here on Amazon. It was very well packaged and came with the the necessary hardware to install. Quality was good, as well as the mirror itself. The 18" size is large enough to clearly see cross traffic at the end of my driveway. I would definitely recommend.

This mirror was simple to install and does what it's designed for - looking around the corner. Though it is adjustable, the back is cardboard and needs to stay out of the weather. It doesn't fog up. I have mine outside but under the carport.

The product and delivery were fine. It is what I expected - but, I hope that it stands up to the weather better than the old one as the winter/wind broke the mirrow..

We purchased this item to be able to keep an eye on our pets while they are in the corner of our yard. We installed it outside of our window under the shade of our roof overhang which is a 3 foot overhang. Within the first couple of months that we had it we noticed that it had cracked right down the middle. I contacted the company and was told that there was nothing they could do and that they would not replace it. We feel that the reason it cracked is because the backing is made out of pressed board that swells when it is humid outside, causing pressure on the mirror.

Good for the price but the bottom is carton and my purpose is for outdoor use, as was advertised.

Bought this to hang in my garage to see the other side of my car because I have dogs and I couldn't see their exact locations as I pulled in. Hung it high on the wall and tilted it down. It's perfect and I can see on all sides.
