We bought 3 from somewhere else but needed 1 more for our rabbits. They love pulling the hay out of them and it's easy to see how much hay they have left. We have 2 for each rabbit and we typically have to fill them at least twice a day in addition to a pile close to their litter boxes. We cut off one of the wires to make a bigger hole to stuff it easier

I have a cage which came with a hay rack/manger thing you attach on one side. Unfortunately, my piggies like to pull all the hay out and it gets all over the floor and they don't touch it them (fussy!) so not only does it create a mess but is a waste. This is adding to their current problems as they have fungus on their ears (hay can be a source of this) so having it over the floor and peeing on it is a perfect environment for mould.Instead, I started using these for hay and they are perfect! They don't create as much mess as I can really ram them full of hay and they have to work for it rather than just pull a little and getting a whole banquet. They can be attached to the cage and off the floor and I just stuff it full of hay in the hay bag itself which hugely reduces the mess I got from the hay getting on my floor whilst previously shoving it in the manger.Highly recommended!

Good but a bit messy

These are great things to have to store hay or snacks in. Only downside is not easy to put hay in and the hook is very stiff to hang. Still worth the money paid.

I have 2 of these now for my bunnys , there solid not flimsy, my buns like them, they do make a mess with hay but mine are above litter box so it dosnt matter

I purchased this for my guinea pigs, and they loved going through it and finding treats. Since reading up on them and hearing horror stories where animals get stuck in them, I'm just not as sure on using it anymore. Perhaps it should only be used for larger pets, when you are able to supervise them.

I am a hobby breeder and exhibitor of Guinea Pigs. These adorable bundles of fluff get bored very easily. Boredom in Guinea Pigs can cause them to gnawing their hutch, barbering (over self-grooming that leads to hair loss) either themselves or another cage-mate, or other bad habits.I stuff these balls with 'salad' - loads of lovely veggies - and this entertains them for at least an hour! You can also put treats inside (not containing Honey or seeds) which will, again, keep them entertained. I have one of these in all of my cages - some are plain like this one, I also have a couple with a bell on which makes for a 'Pavlov response' - as soon as they hear the bell they go beserk wheek wheek wheek!!I would definitely recommend one of these balls as a must-have if you're considering having a pet Guinea Pig.

it's nice, but arrived damaged. given the low price it wasnt worth it to me to return it. with a pair of pliers you can fix it easily. then bunny got to it, liked it, but pulled it apart again within a day. another plier job and fingers crossed it lasts a bit longer (the issue is the chain, not the ball, so you can always replace the chain or just use the ball as is. but that was not the intend of the product)If you found my review helpful, please can you let me know by clicking yes.
