Cold Therapy Newbie, Ice Barrel is The Way To Go!
When I received the Ice Barrel, the box was slightly intimidating due to its size, but the set up was so quick and simple! It came with an instruction book and how to set everything up. I placed it on the back patio and it’s had become a great addition to the back patio, not an eyesore. I was also pleasantly surprised that it came with a cover, an added bonus for the Ohio weather. As someone who stands at 6’4”, slipping into this cold plunge barrel was easier than I thought. I’m so used to being cramped in plane seats, etc. but the design to be in an upright position helped immensely. One thing I remember seeing at the bottom of the barrel was “Made In America” which surprised me to see because it seems that is going away more and more. I also remember hearing that these are made from recycled plastics, which makes it even better.Looking into cold therapy, I’m excited for what this Ice Barrel brings. I hate being cold and uncomfortable, but starting cold therapy will help me relax and control my breathing. It helps with soreness and post workout recovery as well, so I couldn’t ask for more. I’ve laid in a bathtub filled with water and ice after running, but there was no way to get comfortable due to my size. I look forward to making this Ice Barrel a part of my morning and recovery routine. I am only a rookie in the cold plunge game, but I am excited to becoming better at this.Very satisfied with my barrel, once it’s empty, it’s easy to move and refill. This product blazes the trail for cold therapy and was a quick delivery as well.Pictures show the filling up process, with the lid on and with the cover on.

5am Cold Therapy With this Great Barrel!
I am thrilled with my recent purchase of the ice barrel! Setting it up was a breeze and took me only 20 minutes. I used scented Epson Salt and the Stabilizer to keep the ice fresh. Despite some negative reviews online suggesting that it was just a big trash can, I am happy to report that this couldn't be further from the truth. The barrel is thoughtfully molded at the top, making it easy to grip and get in and out of. The rim is an inch or so wide and is easy to sit on and pivot out of, which is incredibly convenient. The base that comes with it does an excellent job of stabilizing the barrel and keeping it off the ground, and the sturdy stairs make it easy to reach the top.I have taken two ice baths in my new barrel so far, and it has kept the temperature at a consistent 48 and 45 degrees for two minutes each time. It dipped in temperature once I added one ice tray but it looks steady. The thick plastic and insulated lid work incredibly well at keeping the ice cold, and I haven't experienced any leaks except for one minor issue that was easily fixed with a wrench. Its possible that the manufacturer intentionally left it a little loose to avoid wearing out the gasket during storage and transportation. One concern I had before purchasing the barrel was whether it would be easy to get in and out of. I am 6' tall and 225lbs, and while I'm fairly muscular, my flexibility is probably average. The barrel is more than spacious enough for me, and I didn't have any trouble getting in or out. I imagine that if you are shorter, you might need to use a milk crate or something similar to assist with getting out, but for me, it was easy to do. Overall, I am beyond satisfied with the Ice Barrel and would highly recommend this ice barrel to anyone looking for a high-quality and user-friendly way to enjoy cold baths.

ICED! 10/10
Love the product and results!I have had my barrel for a month now. Using the product 4-5 times a week and over time lowering the water temp from mid 50’s to mid 40’s changing the time I stay in. The way I feel after I get it is great! I feel reset and energized. My body feels tighter and my muscles recover two times faster than normal. Buying this product has increased my weekly workout routine since I feel like I can push myself more and recover faster. It has also opened up my eyes to other natural products that can boost the way I feel. I have introduced this product to my friend group and now have 3-4 friends who are joining in every week to get iced. Great product and great company.

Better get a commercial ice maker with it.
This product is a great concept for someone who lives in a cold climate. However the temperatures where I live currently are in the 70 and 80° range and I need over 60 pounds of ice a day to bring this barrel to the minimum temperature needed for cold shock therapy. It’s not like I live in Las Vegas where the temperature is already over 100° every day. I live in a much cooler temperate climate. If you live in an area where the temperatures are already getting warmer, I recommend purchasing a product that provides its own cooling system in order for you to get to the temperature necessary for any cold therapy benefits.
