Life Changing!!
Ginny Burton's personal "Transfiguration," and the book that was inspired within her, can be described in one word, "MIRACULOUS!" This book did not come out of theoretical academia. It came from real life, real world experience. I believe that its wisdom and methodology go far beyond drug addiction, as well. I believe that it is an important read for people in the clutches of any type of addiction, people with crippling depression and anxieties, people with eating disorders, self esteem issues, and those who feel "stuck" in bad situations. This book offers encouragement, sincere empathy, and a blueprint for a straight forward "way out." Share this book far and wide.

Finally an author who can get through to me
Other self help books feel like they were written by people who don’t actually have any issues. This book was written by someone who understands how hard it is to change, the toxic habits and beliefs we hold, and the ways we sabotage ourselves. Got through to me and made me start working towards turning my life around. I will build a more confident me and stop running away from things because they are hard.

A great book for anyone wanting to change their life.
I've been familiar with Ginny Burton's life now for some time. I discovered her story in the news and on social media, watched her in interviews, etc. That someone can change their life to the extent that she has is nothing short of a miracle. But, after reading her book, I understand that it took commitment and hard work. I have a number of things in my life that I want to change and I think the steps in this book will help me gain control of my life again and meet my goals. What an inspirational memoir and book of life tips! All from someone who was in prison a few years ago. Just goes to show you that every life has value and every life can make a difference, for themselves and others!

Ginny nailed it, the practices are profoundly effective!
I have not personally experienced addiction or incarceration in the way Ginny has; however, through my son’s journey, I have. Watching him go through such deep pain has left us both forever altered. I read Ginny’s book with the intent to apply her concepts in areas of my life where I needed healing, and that is exactly what I received. Ginny nailed it. The practices are profoundly effective. Thank you, Ginny, for bringing your story of transfiguration to light! The world needs what you are offering! ~

A Common-sense Approach to Living the Life You Deserve
This is the book that all counselors should be using to get people moving toward building an improved life. As the author says, if she can lift herself out of brokenness and incarceration, so can you and so can I.These are eight very achievable steps that require nothing more than being real with yourself and being dedicated to building the life you deserve, regardless of your current circumstance. Frankly, you don't need to currently be living in a state of desperation to benefit from these principles. Whatever it is that you struggle with, these 8 steps will help you improve, overcome, and grow as a person.

A beautiful offering of peace if you want it.
This book is very informative and thorough IF you are ready to do the work. The things that have taken me years to discover and practice are all in one place, ready for you to take the first step. It's a really beautiful piece of work and better yet, it's tried and true. I look forward to going back through and continually doing the self inquiry that Ginny has practiced and encourages. I feel very confident that her steps can get anyone on the path to freedom if they so choose.
