this is much better than the coarse one.
I bought this refill to replace my original very coarse roller. This one is so much better and easier to use. My feet feel great.It works well on nails. They are nor short and tidy. It was very easy to change the roller over.. only took a moment and I love using it now.The coarse one worked but not nearly as well. highly recommended

Smoother than the original
I received the Velvet smooth wet & dry machine for my birthday, but it only came with the rough insert. Which was fine for extremely dry skin, but didn't leave my feet feeling as smooth as I wanted them to be. After ordering these refills I am very satisfied, my feet are smooth like silk and I no longer catch any dry skin on my blanket!
