I'm using this for a planted aquarium because I want to be able to gage the type of light that I am exposing my tank and fish to and this product does exactly that. I have noticed the plants in my tank are actually growing new additions to themselves and the fish love that the light can be dimmed as well. It allows the best of both worlds really; happy fish and happy plants! It did take a long time to be delivered but it was definitely worth the wait! I am posting this review assuming that it doesn't randomly stop working some time soon.

The LED lights are fine and are working well for me so far. However, the buttons on the switch pad/remote are confusing. The button with the +/- symbol labeled "Adjust Brightness Button" only increases the brightness. Once it reaches maximum, pressing it further does nothing. The button below that with the two arrows called "Switch Button" is supposed to toggle red-blue, warm-yellow, and red-blue-yellow. But all it does is decrease the brightness of all the lamps. The timer button is working as it should. The power button is odd: I press it once and it turns on all lights. I press it a second it time and the lights on all the lamps turn yellow. A third press shuts the lamps off.To further confuse matters, the manual I received has instructions printed on both sides for two different units. One is called "Dual/Three/Four Head LED" and the other side is for "Clip LED Grow Light". I have a three-head clip style unit so go figure! The unit I have matches the picture for the "Clip LED" instructions but the listed functions do not work as stated.

I purchased 3 different products of similar design/price, and these were by far my favorite. The higher number of bulbs meant brighter lights for plants and a more even glow. I worried that grow lights would cause unpleasant lighting in my living spaces, but the lights were gentle/natural while still bright enough to effectively cover the needs for a bunch of plants. The clamps are sturdy, and attach easily to small/uneven surfaces. The controller was also much higher quality than other brands. I’m planning to return the other 2 lights and replace them with this model.

I don't have the best lightly in my house, so I ordered these in hopes to help my plants grow in areas of my home where I don't get much natural light. They work like a charm. There are different settings - light brightness, changing lights, and they're flexible! The clamp also STRETCHES - so it literally will clamp onto anything. I'm happy and my plants are happy. I'll most certainly be purchasing again.

Arrived on Friday then stopped working on Sunday morning, totally out of expectation. Might be my bad luck for getting a defective product, but not really sure about this. Initially this 3-head grow light worked perfectly with different timer settings and adjustment of brightness upon request, I was only using it for 4 hours per day. When I turned it on on Sunday morning, about 15 minutes it went off all of sudden with no warning signs such as flickering lights. I did plug it back in and plug out, also changed wall-charger after I contacted seller, it just wouldn't go back on. I appreciated the quick response from seller but no way I can have this grow light function normally in the way it originally started. Sadly I returned it on Tuesday morning at local UPS store with a specifically assigned code. Sorry I had to do so, my plants need a steady grow light for germination and solid growth for young seedlings, will look somewhere else later.
