Diono Stuff 'n Scuff, Seat Back Protector for Newborn and Above, Black, Large, 40230

I had previously purchased pair of Jolly Jumper protectors which didn't last five minutes. They were very poorly designed and simply could not take a beating from little kiddies feet when in the car. These Diono protectors on the other hand are brilliant for pretty much the same money I had paid for the others, wish I'd bought them fist.1. LooksThey look good behind the seat and cover the back of the seat well2. FittingThe fitting mechanism is very robust. The straps are tough and machine sewn to the top of the cover and it clips around the head rest with a big plastic clip like you would find on most quality sport bags/luggage. The bottom uses two durable plastic hooks on straps which you attach to any section under your seat they can latch on to. The fit is snug so it doesn't move all over the place. So it's not going anywhere! (Mine were fitted to a Saab 9-3 estate)3. StorageThe storage pockets aren't very deep as the photo may be a bit misleading but deep enough to fit snacks, small toys and small drink bottles. I'd say ample really without allowing too much room for your kids to just kick everything out or be in the way of their little feet.4. DurabilityWe had purchased these for a France trip (10 hour drive) and they have performed extremely well going to France and coming back. They took a real beating and still look like new.5. CleaningThe material is durable and cleans easily with a damp cloth. What more can I say.Overall a great product and one of those essentials for your car when your have children. Highly recommended.

I've got Diono brand seat protectors on the cushion areas of both our household cars, and they were great, as they're padded enough to make sure that the child car seats don't leave permanent imprints into the seats themselves so I thought we couldn't go wrong with the kick protectors - unfortunately they didn't last anywhere near as long as I would have expected and after looking at other reviews they have failed in the same place - where the upper strap meets the kick protector so I'd have to ask whether this is a design flaw. The individual components seem high enough quality, but the stitching that holds them together is failing. Perhaps if these were riveted or over-stitched with a heavier gauge thread they might be more suitable for their intended use but as they are I could not honestly recommend them.

This is our second seat protector and we have been very happy with this product.The product is of low cost and helps protect your car seats from little feet that love to make a mess. We have also found that it protects the seat from kicking and foot swinging - if we did not have this in our car, a foot may have gone through the leather of our front seat.Our first protector broke after 2 years due to our child pulling the material apart however I have found that the protector is a good product that can withhold a lot of use. I really like the fact that this product has pockets which are perfect to put small toys in our essentials like wet wipes in.Having tried other branded products in this design, none of them lasted as long as this product did. Overall we love this product and will continue to use it, as long as we have children.This is great value when you can buy it in the sale for around £6.

This items is very easy to fit, is the perfect size on when fitted to the back of the seat and stops almost all dirty shoe marks. The quality is surprisingly good and my last version of this lasted for at least 3 years before needing to be replaced. The pocket fastens with a popper and can fit smaller/thinner books, sunglasses, small packet of tissues, small toys etc. in it. Perfect for items that need to stay in the car.

After reading some of the reviews here I was expecting a lot worse but took a punt on it as I felt the price wasn't a deal breaker. It comes in a little box and "pops up" in to shape. The material is a bit like tent fabric which I think would be very easily rinsed off and quickly dried once dirty but is probably not going to hold up well against sharp objects so I'd be careful with things like gravel on the bottom of shoe treads etc. Covered the back seat of our Freelander well and although the little boot lace thingys to hold it in to place are not the most sturdy I have seen, but it did a good job protecting the seat from my sons muddy feet and it held in place well, even once he decided to "test" if it stayed still. Probably not designed to last forever and a day but the price reflects that. I guess I just have eco guilt even saying that...disposable culture and all that :-( Not good. I also purchased the Prince Lionheart Backseat Organiser at the same time, 3 times the price but will clearly really go the distance and will last for years. Just don't feel that they do entirely the same job and this one will be much easier to clean off when muddy. The Price Lionheart one is much more designed for holding everything the child would want...but would be a much harder to clean. Pay your money and take your choice I guess!

We bought a brand new car and didn't want little feet scuffing or dirtying the seat in front so purchased this.I love the fact that this seat protector has a rigid frame so it sits against the chair back nicely.It takes seconds to install and fits the chair very nicely.I like the fact that it has storage pockets, but not big enough so that your car turns into a mobile toy box!A very handy item and would recommend to others looking for a decent seat back protector.

Have just received and installed this in new car. We have one from another brand in our other car and that is made of better more durable material than this one, but it does the job all the same.Bit annoying having to hook it onto something suitable under the seat at the bottom (rather than just having it elasticated around the seat itself), but doesn't really change anything in terms of usability
