Good design - poor materials
Assembly is easy, although the metal tubes and horizontal hoops are of the thinnest metal possible so the structure needs careful handling as you build it. The paintwork scratches very easily and as the metal is plain steel it will rust quickly. I assembled mine with silicone grease on all joints and screws and then sprayed the finished structure with WD40. I also plugged the ends of the uprights with rubber before inserting into a large pot to support a Clematis. I don't expect long life out the obelisk but at the price it's ok. It certainly would not do for a heavy climbing plant such as a rose, but for a clematis that is cut back every year it should be ok for a couple of years - maybe longer if you spray it regularly with WD40. If the tube walls were about 5 times thicker I'd probably give it 5 stars as the actual design is quite adequate for purpose

Good value for money
I am using this to support a perennial that grows to around 7 feet in height. As the obelisk is not that heavy I will be putting in supporting stakes because the plant is heavy and does take a battering from the wind, however, the structure of the obelisk seems strong, and it certainly looks good. Would recommend.

Great value and a good finish to product.
Great value for money. I am really pleased with the frame. As is the climbing plant currently using it. Assembly would be helped with a second person to hold it steady, however I didn’t have help and managed fine. The assembly is easy, just be aware if you can support the structure at the initial stage you can save a few ‘oops,’ or words to that effect. Again I didn’t but all was completed. Additionally, the screws are of very good quality so hopefully no rust will creep in.

but good for what I want it for - it would ...
Well, as others said, it is not green, but black. It is very basic, but good for what I want it for - it would not make a 'feature' - but at the price you would not expect it either.I am waiting for mine to be smothered in roses...Word of warning: I could not get the finial to engage with the nut provided - so i replaced it with a nut and bolt set I had, and placed a solar light at the top: it works beautifully!

Attractive obelisk
Need to be very careful with assembly to ensure the correct ones are placed at bottom. Instructions not very clear on that. Quite flimsy and wobbly once assembled. Need to fix legs securely in the ground.

Good but not best
Great item for the price but it is a bit of a pain putting together and you need a spanner or adjustable spanner plus a pozi drive screwdriver. I had one of the braces in an S shape some how out of the box so don't expect great things. It does look good from a distance though and services the purpose intended.

It is a little fiddly to put together but with the right tools did it one handy. Its not the robust frame but at the moment it supports the rose bush no problem ... some the legs were squashed in delivery ...but I sorted them out with a pair of pliers
