The media could not be loaded. Comes in a protective case as you'd expect, cheap and cheerful. Purchased for my son starting boxing so happy enough.

Good quality, but a bit too big for 7 Yr old. Will have to keep it safe for future use

Perfect.
Ordered late at night and it arrived the very next day. Fantastic service especially considering the postage is included in this amazingly low price of around £3.50 ( I think mine was reduced to £3.20 ).The instructions are very clear but to add a little more detail you simply drop it in water that is from a boiled kettle and has been left for a few minutes. Don't use water that is simmering in a pan or is actually at boiling point. Leave in this recently boiled water for exactly 40 seconds. Pluck out of the water with a set of tongs or something, quickly shake off the loose water ( to avoid burning the gums ) then quickly pop it on the top set of teeth and bite hard ( but not right through ( and suck all the saliva away as hard as possible whilst simultaneously pressing against the back of the gumshield with the tongue and pressing against the outside of the gumshield with a clean index finger.Mine was slightly loose so I had to repeat the process. The instructions state quite clearly that if you have to repeat the process just dip it in the same water for ten seconds.I chose yo ignore the instructions and put it in for another fourty seconds. The gumshield lost all of the shape I had initially moulded and had actually shrunk a fair bit. I was lucky to get away with it it fitting successfully this time. That was my fault.I recommend ordering at least two gumshields in case of accidental moulding problems. At this price why not.Over two decades ago I used these cheap gumshields for kickboxing and I would not consider paying a lot of money for one when these work so well. Nor would I consider one of those fancy coloured ones ( especially red ) as it makes it difficult for the ref or the teacher to see if the mouth is bleeding. The people who are giving bad reviews because they are "not soft enough" don't understand that a gumshield is not supposed to Cussion the teeth, it is merely to stop the lower teeth from smashing against the upper teeth if you are unlucky enough or careless enough to get hit on the jaw with your mouth open. Also to help prevent you biting through your tongue. They need to be strong not soft. Also most people giving a low rating are saying it's not suitable as a night time teeth grinding guard. It's not designed for that. It's even called a "Game Guard". Teeth move at night even for fully grown adults and I don't think they should be fixed in place with a sports gumshield. I am quite sure that there are special gum guards recommended by dentists for this purpose.Just one more thing. Many of the reviewers were saying that they had bought one for their child or teenager. They need to be aware that these should be remoulded (10 seconds in recently boiled water ) before every single use. These gumshields are very tight fitting and will push back teeth that are trying to grow and change shape.

Good value
The gum shield is great value for money on the downside it was a little bit big but I trimmed it a little and fits ok now. Had a couple of attempts to mould it to dons teeth and it’s still not perfect but better than nothing to protect his precious adult teeth in rugby games

Made me bleed
i bought the clear and the sparkly blue one. Its the first time I've bought a mouthgaurd so i don't know if what i experienced is normal or not.I'm 26 so bought the senior one for people over 13, however it felt too big (like it was pushing my teeth out). I tried the clear one first, and moulded it hoping that would make it a better fit and comfier once moulded, however during the 30 sec wait where its in your mouth i could see my gums around my teeth were all starting to bleed. It was gross but because it was the clear guard i could see the blood dripping down my teeth and puddling at the bottom of the guard... the guard is painful to use. I tried again with the blue one and the same thing happened :( Its really uncomfy and feels huge.I really liked the clear and sparkly blue colour of game guard, but sadly they didn't work for me.I thought id never be able to wear a mouthgaurd after the issues with this one, but in the end in a last bid attempt, i bought a sisu one to try where you mould the entire thing....and this is the only one that didn't cause bleeding. It fits and is comfy.

Too large a fit for my 14 year old daughter
I purchased this mouth guard for my 14 year old daughter as she plays hockey. I wasn't sure whether to go for the junior one or the bigger one but in the end I chose the bigger size. Unfortunately it doesn't fit - it is far too big her. The junior one would be better. As she has already tried it we cannot return the item.I will have to buy her another one that does fit.
