Kontrol Mega Moisture Trap - Off-White

This is a good item, it works well out the box with two large 4 inch diameter tabz however, the tabz are expensive to replace. The salt crystals are cheaper and the grooves where you put the tabz are a little large so when using crystals instead of tabz up looks like the small grains will fall through the grooves. Putting a small mesh from a plastic sieve or net curtain would solve this problem so you can use the cheaper crystals instead of the expensive tabz.Furthermore breaking open the cheap one use dehumidifiers and emptying out about 4 of the crystals from them would do same job for cheaper.Investing in the plastic container is the value of this product, the tabz are not economical.

I had some issues over winter with damp in my small room in my student house so took to the internet to help find a solution. Small dehumidifiers were outrageously expensive then I found the Kontrol Moisture traps that are reusable and my problem was solved.I ordered the 2L mega trap so I could let it stand longer and not empty it as frequently. It came packaged very nicely, extra secured in bubble wrap. It contains two of the tabs (which are huge) and apparently you are supposed to use them both in there at the same time, but I may try just one at a time to try and make them last longer.I have not had the chance yet to use this product but will update my post once I have.

I bought one of these as my granparents have had one for a couple of years and it's been excellent so I have bought one for our bathroom.Excellent service from lighting and mobile accessories had a slight problem with the first item sent out (wrong size item) and they quickly sent out a replacement and also left me with the smaller one so I have found a use for that also. Very happy customer 👍

I have to admit to being surprised that this works, it removed a substantial amount of moisture from my bathroom.i am happy with this product and would recommend it, my bathroom is not large but I have now bought them for the kitchen and the bedrooms. Please take note it does NOT happen over night it is a process called osmosis ( I think that's what you call it ) the moisture is absorbed by the crystals or blocks in this case and then it ends up in the container for you to empty.

I purchased this item in order to avoid having to use a dehumidifier. I read reviews for this item along with many others similar. I have used this in my sons room as i had thought his room maybe a little damp due to the fact its always rather cold and some little condensation seems to appear on his window.Day 2 now and there is already water in the system. It has proven to me what i thought and is helping clear some of the moisture out of the air. Now i know there's a slight problem with moisture i can take other measures to get rid of it.Definitely worth the price and to try to see if it helps! Would recommend to anyone.

Arrived promptly, very large which is what we needed for a condensation ridden conservatory, and it's silently doing the job. It's not pretty, but I don't care it works. Very pleased. If this rotten weather continues we'll be back for more.
