It's a feel good book...You could just hear Joan's voice speaking...and You can't help but Laugh.. Priceless

I laughed out loud so often and so loudly thst my dog kept looking at me like I was nuts! I wished that I could contact Melissa Rivers to tell her how much I enjoyed the book and how masterfully she wrote in her moms voice! What a wonderful wacky insane scary but ultimately fabulous childhood and life Melissa had being raised by the comedic genius Joan Rivers! I loved Joan and I loved this book and wished it would have gone on for another 100 pages! A treasure I’ll read again!

Much preferred her first book "The Book of Joan". This one was a little hard to get through.

I loved Melissa's mother Joan. This book was a reminder of Joan. Melissa doesn't have her mother's bite and way of saying things and I don't think she needs to. She is great on her own. She knew her mother way better than anyone and I love the way she brought her back.
