This chain was almost exactly what I needed. It is not so thin that it feels like it will snap. It's not so thick that it can't have a charm. My only critique is that I wish it had an extender so that I could choose the length based on the situation. However, the length I got is still pretty good for a standard charm.

It was a very nice necklace that I wore daily but the clasp broke in just a few months.
