Fell apart. Rubbish quality.
Very disappointed.Top of the post knocker came off after ramming only a few posts. Very poor quality steel, and very poor quality welding.Contacted the seller and was refused a refund. Save yourself the trouble, and do not buy this post knocker!

No expert but it looks rough welding
The is Review Part One - the Post Rammer arrived and I took a couple of pics of the welds on the handles as these have been mentioned in previous reviews.Second Review will follow actually using the Hammer, as I only have one post to drive into the ground I am hoping it will do the job without issue.

Great value...
I read other reviews and did have some concerns about how robust this would be, but after plenty of heavy use I have to say it's done the job fine. The end disc wasn't welded on particularly neatly, and there's a blob of weld inside that sometimes leaves an indentation in the top of the fence post, but I can live with that. No complaints, it works, it was cheap, and it came quickly.

Heavy
Used to drive in fence posts 75 mmx 75 mm,x 1.8 m, in 750 mm spike. The great advantage is that it doesn't damage the top of the post as a sledgehammer might, require you to swing a sledge at the top of of a stepladder or risk the hands of someone steadying the post. Very simple to use: put it over the post, lift it and pull it down. I found it difficult initially to get it over the posts as it weighs 13 kg and I am relatively short. While it was still above my shoulders I found the physical effort taxing but as it came level with my shoulders I was able to lift it and pull it down more vigourously. It was helpful to have my wife watching to check that the post was going in straight. The package arrived early and was an untidy recycling of another cardboard box. The driver itself was well painted in silver but the bending had wrinkles and some of the welding was clumsy. None of this affected the performance of the tool.I only put in five posts, but the tool is so hefty that it must be good for another 5000 at least. In this coronavirus time I shall lend it round the local help group for those who have dodgy fences.

The description and pictures are WAY OFF!
I bought the 15.4kg one, it is actually only 13kg, the handles are not in the same position as the picture, they are directly on the sides not set in which makes it hard to use on your own, the welding on the handles is a joke.

Worked well for one job. Now what do I do with it?
Bought this for putting in some half round stakes. It worked ok for getting these into the ground. It is quite heavy and requires a lot of energy to use on ones own. Two could work together with it. The weight helps with the driving force.I made a mistake in buying it as the posts were much smaller than the diameter of this tool. This meant it was more difficult to get the posts upright. I expect, with a device of similar diameter to the pole, this would be easier to control.Having used it for one job, I now have a tool that I may never use again! Watch out for it on ebay!

great product very good price
My husband bought this for when our post break we put in a hard wood round post beside it, knock it down to half way and wined in a bolt through both post saves a lot of work .so my husband who is 72 bought one of post rammers which made the job even quicker .Great product would highly recommend made very well can't fault it. Happy Customer.

Could not have done the job without this
I put a fence in using this which consisted on around 20 3inch diameter stake-posts.Trying to do this with a mallet/ hammer or anything else would have been impossible. Also - this seemed to be quite a bit cheaper than some of the other models but I have no idea why - as it does the job perfectly and has absolutely no wear at all after 20 posts - and is so sturdy I reckon you could bang in posts for the rest of your life and this thing will still be going strong.
