Wow
This book is a must have!If you love makeup and not sure what to do, this book has every answer and technique you ever wanted to know. For example:Don't use chapsticks that contain camphor or menthol because it sucks the moisture out of your lips. That's why they're addictive.Beige nude ..great for pale lips and fair complexion.Pink nude.. for pale or rosy lips and medium complexion.Peach lip colors are flattering on everyone.Baby rose lip shades give a youthful poutiness to lips and makes them look fresh and healthy. The next chapter explains about romantic blush.Pop of passion.I love, love , love this fantastic book!

Very basic
Un libro adatto solo alle principianti che non fornisce nessuna nuova idea. Si può spulciare velocemente, ma non rispecchia minimamente il prezzo

Wonderful book for all ages
I’m 68 and was looking for a new look. I loved the book. It instructed me on how to apply makeup in a fashion that makes me look fresh and put together without a lot of fuss. The instructions were clear and precise with pictures showing the ‘how to’. Even though I’ve completed it, I go back to it occasionally for a refresher. My kids said to me the other day, “Mom, what’s different about you? You look refreshed or something.”

Big disappointment
I was so intrigued by the concept of "lazy beauty" and the cover looks so cool. But, unfortunately, there's just nothing new here. It's the same tips and concepts you get in other beauty books. I feel the writer definitely knows what she's talking about and is actually an eloquent writer, but it's a big "yawn" for me. Something else that is surprising is that there's so few visuals and there is so much text. There's a few sketches to illustrate things but maybe some inspiring photos would have made this a little more interesting. The concepts are very basic, possibly good for someone really new to make-up and such. But in general, I don't recommend.

Good for someone who hasn't worn makeup in a long time, but already knows basics
If you don't know anything about makeup, or haven't worn it for maybe a decade, I could see this being a really helpful book. I already wear (some) makeup daily, and this seemed like perfect book to get a few new ideas. Unfortunately, I found it to be a repeat of most other "beginner makeup" books, except that (as some other reviewers have noted) it was really weirdly organized. I also didn't find the makeup suggestions at the end of the book very helpful - she sticks to a few brands, and tends to recommend them again and again, instead of doing the footwork to test different brands and tell us what's best from each.I'd recommend a Bobbi Brown manual over this one for the makeup novice. For someone who already wears makeup and wants ideas, maybe a Robert Jones book. I'll be returning this one.

Good book!
Before this book arrived I didn’t realize that this woman had other blogs and had been on tv and had done celebrity makeup. She has the tips and shortcuts! Good book I’m glad for the purchase!

Lazy Perfection is perfection
This is the best beauty book I've ever come across. The style is easy to read. The book is organized very well. And there are alot of insider tips like which brushes you should have and where the apple of your cheek is really located. My best takeaway though is the explanation of a "tightline" on the eye. I had never heard of that before so I tried it and it really does make a big difference - lashes look more lux and it takes a good 5 years off the age!

Terrific Book
Jenny's book is concise, helpful and funny. It answers all the questions you didn't even know to ask, plus it also helps you navigate through the perils of the beauty industry. Lazy Perfection is a wonderful addition for anyone who wants to look attractive without wasting time and money.

Jenny is a fantastic makeup artist and her book is a reflection of her skills. It is a well written (funny) and straightforward guide with solid advice. I have had the privilege of having my makeup done by Jenny and she has literally never steered me wrong. I walked away feeling pretty and confident that I could repeat the look on my own. Her approach is really attainable. I have already purged my old makeup and brushes. I really enjoy her videos too.

Good read!
I was surprised to find so much useful information! I am a fan of low maintenance, so this was applicable. The author has a great sense of humor, as well.

I love this book
I love this book! It's an amazing how-to for girls any age who have little knowledge on how to look great without looking like you have too much makeup on. I like to look like a better version of myself and the tutorials are extremely helpful. It's witty but very informative. Every girl should own this book!
