Higher Is Waiting

This book is a must for all believers. My background is very different than Mr. Perry's but God gave him a gift to share his experiences to inspire all of us. Chapters are short and filled with so much. You could do a chapter a day or week to reflect in the message he is giving in each one. I would say it is a self help book, if you are ready. This is a remarkable book.

I love the authenticity of the stories, the way they touched my soul. I have recommended the book and bought it for relatives and friends. I repeat some of the stories to my students as I try to motivate them to reach "higher" as they navigate a healthcare system that does little to support emotional or physical wellness. I am so glad that I have this as a resource to return to in times when "higher" seems out of reach. Thank you Tyler

You learn why and how this man does what he does. I enjoyed it thoroughly and it was quick to read. I’m sharing it with friends.

This is a great reading! I highly recommend! Tyler Perry (TP) is a extraordinary person and his works never seem to amaze me. This book is very enlightening, informative, and therapeutic. TP is very vulnerable in this book and I so admire that about him. I think he is such a real and down to earth person! I would love the opportunity to meet him one day to personally say "thank you, stay faithful and obedient!" He has a calling. M Spencer

This book is an easy read with short chapters. There's enough background on the author's life to inform you about what he experienced and life lessons gained. Recommend it.

I expected a fun easy read, it was that and much more! My life experiences and the work I do allows for me to know what forgiveness could do to move people forward. I expected to get some insight on how this man writes so much brilliant work, intrigue and educate the people. I didn’t expect to shed so many tears. I did expect to be encouraged so then the tears were wonderful cleansing tools that leaps one soul forward. Thank you Tyler Perry for writing this book. Thank you for giving so much of yourself, letting your light shine. May this book do for hundreds of millions more that we all let our light illuminate this world on this little blue planet that The Creator may be pleased with humanity! Faith, hope, forgiveness, empathy, compassion, worthiness, awareness, belonging...Yeah I’m Encouraged!

You can forgive.” Tyler PerryHigher is Waiting is for everyone, however I do understand not everyone is ready at the same time to do the hard work, but I encourage you to take the small steps and get it done, the benefits are priceless. Mr. Perry uses his life experiences, lots of lessons learned the "hard way," to help others move through difficult times and be inspired to live and amazing life filled with grace and possibilities!
After all the tears during many of the storytelling, at the end of the book Tyler Perry made my heart smile and filled with gratitude! Thank you for writing and sharing your journey from a vulnerable authentic place. God speed! I read all day on 12/16/17 and finished on 12/17/17 1:17am. I couldn’t put it down, besides a brief three hour on the road running errands. This book was a wonderful treat to spend a day being inspired that will benefit people to move forward.

This book is extremely small and the font is huge. At the same time quick glance at the text Show that this is just a generic, unstructured essay without inspiring dive deep. I wanted to get this book after I saw some of Madea’s videos on YT. I for sure expected something else, something that could be in line with videos that I have seen. Item returned

I really met Tyler Perry's soul in this book! I can't thank him enough for sharing his life's journey and prayerful wisdom with us here. I find myself more reflective and considerate of what God is doing in my life when reading this treasure. Thank you brother!
