They are mesh with little glue spots underneath. They are funny and nice. The holder is smallish so the coasters are jammed in it. But it’s decent for the money

Soft and thin

I love these coasters. If I had a chance to buy again though, would I? Probably not. Definitely a one time purchase for coke & jokes (punny)My dog really loved these coasters too! Chewed them up and left a crime scene all over the carpet! Awesome! Good dog.Anyway, they are funny, clean design all that. However, I don’t trust the coasters themselves would slide around easily. Also they are thick so the drink stands up taller. If that matters any.Then there’s the fact that they are soft and the bottom of the drink could slip on it easily.Even though the review sounds negative-ish, I still recommend, and as a gift.For the print and quote on them—are you really going to have them on display when mom & dad come? So does it really matter if they have minor imperfections?

If I had a table that I gave a Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo about, these would be even more awesome, but since my friends come over to drink a "few" freebies, I like to throw these out for them. The soft material seems to absorb any sweat from the drinks.MIne are literally 3 15/16" x 3 15/16" in size, so unless you have friends that are "bigger" mooches than myself- Tony the Tiger said it best, "They're GREEEEAT! "
