Metallic Ink Flows Well; Even Coverage
Great for my papercrafts and rock painting. Pretty effects on handmade cards. After my roommate exclaimed over how much she liked the metallic writing on a card I made for her, I gave her a set of silver and gold pens, too. We're both very pleased with these paint pens.

Definitely not a metallic paint.
The silver is much better than the gold. However overall dissatisfied as I was expecting a metallic effect.

Greatly superior to other markers
These are water-based acrylic markers. The ad said they're waterproof and sunproof. I checked this out, and so far, they're definitely waterproof. I'm testing the sun-proof claim, but it will be several months before I will have a reliable opinion about that. In the several weeks in the sun of the markings so far, I can't see any fading. They write easily on the plastic flowers pots that I need to mark. They seem to be very easy to re-start after not using them for several days. Be sure to obey the directions and leave them lying horizontally inbetween uses. Storing them with the tip up or down may not be advisable. I wrote the preceding paragraph when I was new to these markers. Unfortunately my sun-proof test was inadvertently covered up. However, I am now super satisfied with them. The labels that I made for my plants are still bright and have not faded such that I can see it. I recommend against using any of the common "permanent" and oil-based paint markers so common on the market. In my experience these always fade or get bleached to white by the sun. They also dry out quicker than these acrylic markers. I needed a silver marker that I had not used in over a year. A little bit of shaking and depressing of the tip and the marker is as good as new. Very impressive! These markers are advertised as being good for painting rocks. I do want to caution anyone that want's to paint rocks that in many public places this is vandalism and will get you a fine if you're caught. Maybe therock painting is some sort of activity in the country where these markers are manufactured. I guess marking small rocks would be ok anywhere.
