STANLEYTools STA047720 Post Level

What an absolutely brilliant tool. Have just put a load of fence posts up in the garden to support a couple of large timber retaining walls. The first batch I did with a normal spirit level and I was backwards and forwards checking and rechecking to make sure everything was correct. What a lot of faffing around. I thought there had to be an easier way, and this gadget proved there is!! No need to keep stepping away from the job to double check and once I had concreted the first one in and confirmed everything was correct with my trusty, regular level I was happy to proceed with the results this little fella was giving me. It shaved at least an hour off the job and made it a doddle. This is staying in the toolbox.

Bought for levelling the legs on the canopy on my motorhome to get them level before attaching an awning. Works fine, price reasonable, delivered on time and opens out flat which is good for hitting in a tool box.

Easy to use and attach to a fence post. Sufficient accuracy to position a post, although I did still verify with a spirit level as some posts were slightly warped . Well worth the outlay for the convenience of having two hands free to adjust a post.Recommended.

I don't often have to install fence posts but always found it a pain checking they were level in both planes. I saw this tool and bought it as I had a couple of posts to install, and it was very easy to use. It has levels in all three planes, and hooks around the 4" fence post nicely. I haven't tried the magnetic fixing as I've never used any metal fence posts, but the elastic strap is sufficient. Folds flat so it doesn't take up much storage space. may not be robust enough for a serious builder but if you are just an occasional fence installer like me it is a very useful tool.

Stanley Tools STA047720 Post Level Used this when setting fence posts and it makes life so much easier. It has 2 magnets for use with metal poles and a strap to use with wooden ones. The strap is well designed and easy to pull off and put on even with heavy duty gloves on. Easy to view the bubbles when setting and a must have for the price if your doing a good few posts.

This seems a bit flimsy and it needs some care to fold to a square. I bought it to cement in a washing line and the magnets hold it perfectly for that. The elastic strap seems a bit stretchy, so I'm not sure how long it would last if putting in wooden posts. I'd say it's probably not suitable for long term use, but that's only my opinion.

Bit of a struggle getting it around a 6" post, but managed it.Worth it - easier than using a spirit level (although they came in handy just to check at the end).Bright yellow - you won't lose it in the garage!

Muy práctico y eficaz.Que permite dejar el poste aplomado sin necesidad de andar cambiando el nivel de sitio. Trae una goma con unos orificios para apretarlo al poste dejándolo bien sujeto por lo que es muy fiable

Sehr gut zum Posten setzen. Da man nicht immer die Wasserwage versetzen muß. Eim Tipp von mir: für die sehr kurze Auflagefläche muss mann Sie genau aufsetzen, da sonst bei einem kleinen Spalt das Ergebnis nicht passt.

Chinese stuff. But much better quality than the cloned ones you'll find cheaper on Chinese online shops.Has also magnets on the back. Can be folded closed (often the chinese ones can't) with snap lock, which is not too weak not to strong.
