Unbricked 5 DJI Spark batteries
I had a bunch of Spark "intelligent flight" batteries that I stored for several years, were out of warranty and apparently the "battery protection" circuits caused a problem (google "DJI Battery Killer") and rendered them unable to charge. After f8nding the utility mentioned above with instructions to use this chip with a PC and micro USB cable along with some wire probes and a 9v battery, I was able to read the battery status, clear the faults and reset the batteries. All of them now take a charge. I am tech savvy bit not an electrical whiz, but this worked like a charm and made my drone usable again, saving $250 worth of batteries.

Doesn't Work
This unit I received doesn't work. Completely non-functional.

It works but microUSB connector is very flimsy
I almost ripped it out by just simply plugging in the cable, I had to add globs of solder on the sides to stabilize it.
