worked on my pioneer DEH p7700mp
cheapest one i saw listed and it didnt even say it was supposed to work for my radio (pioneer DEH p7700mp) and it still works. not sure about all pioneers but remember to turn the radio off then hold the function button and through the setup menu turn on aux (its off by default), never had a pioneer deck before so i didnt know that. also the bluetooth is kinda just open for anyone to connect, no confirmation or anything but idek how it would do that since its just a little box. anyways what can i say? my need for bluetooth audio has been quenched. Pioneer IP Bus Bluetooth Bluetooth Wireless AUX Adapter Car Audio Stereo, you've done it again

Works well, but needs instructions on how it works and more about install
I'm happy to report that this Pioneer IP Bus Bluetooth adapter from Yctze is working well with my car. I had a 2002-made Pioneer DEH-P740MP head unit that has had AUX inputs of a 12 disc cd changer, an IP Bus Line-In adapter, and now this BT module. I soldered the red + wire on the ACC line of the wiring harness adapter (switched power controlled by the key) and the black - wire to the ground. I probably could have used the remote wire as I doubt this bt module draws more than 300 milliamps that my head unit supports on that wire, but the ACC wire was equally available. At first, I was very worried something had gone wrong because I didn't see the AUX input available but I think that the head unit had been reset by my unplugging the battery. In my case, I had to turn the head unit off, press and hold function until the time displayed, then pressed function to toggle to the AUX on/off setting. Once enabled, the AUX IP-Bus input could be selected as a source just like toggling through the various FM/AM options. The head unit isn't doing anything more than getting the analog audio from the adapter, but it works pretty well all the same. Some other dongles enable Bluetooth calls with an added microphone, but this adapter is most suited for getting music and maybe GPS turn directions from your phone into your car stereoThe Yctze dongle advertised its name as "Car kit" when I was pairing it to my Pixel/Android phone.

Honestly surprised at the quality of sound
Assuming it is blutooth version 5.0 quality is better than expected and cost a fraction of the price that a now hard to find dedicated Pioneer module accessory goes for. We will see if this unit stands the test of time and can last tucked away inside a dash with changing temperatures throughout the seasons.

Junk
I bought two of these so far. The first one stopped working after a week. The second one stopped working within a day
