I bought a boatload of these and I give use them a lot. But I also give them to associates, colleagues, friends, etc. and they get so excited about them! It's like... "Why didn't someone think of these sooner?" I use them all the time as a teacher and my students always ask me where they can get them.... so I tell them here!

I use one on my clipboard at work to hold my pencil. Works great!

Don’t ruin your binding! Use this if you are an underliner! So simple but so helpful.

Larger than I anticipated. Think they prove handy, but also think they could easily leave an indentation on whatever you’re using them on. Heavy and strong

I love them, just wish raised area held a bigger pen. I’d buy them again though.

It holds a pen or pencil on a notebook cover.... you can only slide a standard sized pen or pencil into the slot, but thicker pens or mechanical pencils with a clip can clip onto it and work as well (just not quite as sturdy that way).

Got these clips for my daughter because she has to take notes whenever she is reading a book for school. The clip doesn't make the best bookmark, since it can hold only about 50 pages, but these clips definitely eliminate one of life's "micro-stressors." My daughter uses the paper on which she takes notes as her bookmark. She used to stick her pencil in between pages, too, but it was always falling out and getting lost. Not anymore! I didn't think we would use more than one of these clips at a time, but just today I attached one to a 60-page owner's manual because I'll need to highlight the important parts of it, and I can't read it all in one sitting. These clips are very sturdy and will hold a pen/pencil/marker of just about any size firmly attached to a book. I don't have anything negative to say about these clips. They would make a clever gift for book lovers, students, people who work in an office, etc.

The clips were a bit bigger than I was expecting but that makes sense because they are holding together paper and a writing utensil. I love being able to keep a pen handy and attached to my paperwork otherwise my pens tend to wander off. They do a good job of keeping papers together with or without a pen in the holder. Would definitely buy more!I know some are saying it can’t hold thick pens, but I’ve had no problem with them holding a Sharpie marker which is thicker. Yes, it separates the front of the clip a little more but it still holds my papers in place.
