Q: Really? Add "soap" to concentrate - Like dish soap?

I don't have enough information to fully understand your question. I have used this system for almost a year and it works great. I do not add dish shop or anything else besides the germicide.mI clean my mask using wipes and have used soap but I have never put soap in with the germicide. I don't know if this helps but I do recommend this cleaner!

Q: Why not soak head strap?

You can soak your head strap but if you have any padding or anything around your head strap it needs to be removed first

Q: How big is the soaking container?

I really like it. It is a square and large tub to soak all the ingredients, the large tubing, the small white tubing, the water chamber and its lid and I don't know gallons but I would compare it to about a 5 gallon container. maybe not 5 gallons but close to it. It is enough to put all the things you need to soak in it. It is marked with a "fill to this line" on it. Really good.

Q: Why does the little cup with the Respiclean not show oz, as referred to in the instructions?

I am not sure why they did that but I measured it out and you use 4 of the little cups.
