I needed a new cool and cold weather helmet going into the season and wanted to give this style a try. In FL, winters consist of cool (sometimes cold) mornings and warmer afternoons. A full helmet works for the winter mornings but is sometimes too stuffy for the afternoon. I liked that I could use the facemask in the morning and easily remove it for the afternoon. There are no vents in the helmet, so I would not recommend using the full shield above 85 degrees. It would be too hot.This helmet is very aerodynamic and is the first one I have had in a long while that does not lift up when I get to highway speeds. I do ride behind a windshield. First time out I stood up at about 45 and the helmet was very comfortable in the windstream. The full shield is optically correct, and it is easy to forget it is even there, until you go to scratch your nose and bop yourself in the face.So for the bad: I took away 1 star for 2 reasons. The first is that the chin strap is too far back and presses on my throat. It would be nice if it could be shifted slightly forward. Second is that the full shield is very difficult to push up with 1 hand. It snaps down onto the lower part of the helmet shell and is designed to be raised with 2 hands. I have tried to raise it 3 times at low speed and twice one side popped off in my hand. Both times I had to pull it off completely and tuck it under one leg to pull over, take the helmet off, and pop it back on. Very dangerous when that happens in traffic. Sometimes you have to raise it while riding, so I would recommend wearing the helmet and practicing raising it with one hand. It can be done; you just have to be careful. It has to be rotated upward while pushing in at the top. Any force applied outward will pop it out.EDIT: After riding a few weeks (daily) here are my updates:1- the chin strap attachment points loosened up after a day or two and now it sits comfortably on my neck as it is supposed to, so that problem is resolved2- the full-face shield now pops off most times I go to lower or raise it, whether I use 2 hands or not. The attachment points seem to have loosened up. It fogs up under 15mph because it is so close to my nose and mouth, so I used to use 1 hand to drop it down once I got to the main road, Now I have to put it down before riding or leave it up for the whole trip. The shield must be raised to put the helmet on and then lowered, so this morning I had to take the helmet off, reattach the shield, and put the helmet back on 4 times before I was able to successfully lower the shield and start riding. The shield is such a PIA that I have clear safety glasses that I use in the evening and just leave it up, since it is a little warmer (the internal visor is smoke, so i can't use it after dark). I will probably just toss the shield and use the facemask during colder mornings.I want to remove another star, but I do like this helmet. It is very comfortable, cool looking, and the removable facemask is nice. It's just that the full shield is so poorly designed, like an afterthought. If there was a clear option for the internal shield, I could toss the full shield, use sunglasses during the day and it would be the perfect helmet. For that reason, I will leave it at 4 starts and still recommend the helmet.

I was a little skeptical about this helmet being good quality for $85. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very solid and well built. The liner comes completely out which is needed to install my intercom system. I was worried the face shield was going to be flimsy but it to is very solid. I ordered my size and it fit like a glove. It is very comfortable. I love the look too and the fact you can disassemble it for summer riding when it gets hot. I love the sliding button on the bottom left side of the helmet for raising and lowering the inner sun visor. You don't have to open the clear visor to lower or raise your sun visor. I think I will have to buy a defogging shield to stick on the inside of the visor in winter though as it doesn't have a lot of vents. But overall very satisfied.

The First Helment came with a broken latch, the shipper replaced it with no problems, they were great. That is not why it is 4 out of 5 stars.Over all the Helment is pretty good. I normally like Full Inclosed Helments, and when you have this one configured as a Full Helment, it is tight around the mouth piece, not uncomfortable tight, but you know it's there, and you can feel your boom mic. That isn't even why it's 4 out of 5 stars. The reason why it is 4 out of 5 is because the chin piece is a pain to put on. In the Wimter it is worth the pain, but Fall, Spring and Summer, the Chin is not coming on unless there are alot of bugs out side. Now I have noticed if I clip 1 side in (Mic side) it's a little tight going on, but easier to latch the other half of the chin piece.Highly recommend getting an intercom, the spaces that are carvers out are perfect.

The media could not be loaded.  Best versatile helmet for its price. It’s a good fit with a few drawbacks. Chin bar is slightly too close to my face, and is a little hard to put on when mounted on your head. Maybe designed for a person with a overbite and recessed chin.Other than that I’d say this is very versatile from having a full face, 3/4th helmet with included clear removable visor,and a drop-down tinted visor, and extra spacing for coms and mic.The removable padding is always a plus.

When I bought this helmet my main concern was the chin gaurd detachment. I was quite surprised at how solid it was, and it locks firmly into place without any difficulty. I test rode it, and it holds up to the wind without air seeping in, nor does it vibrate or rattle. The huge vents in the front allow plenty of air to flow inside the helmet. The size does run a little small because of all of the padding inside the helmet, so it's best to order it a little bigger.

Ordered according to my head size but the sizing info was not accurate. I put on the chin guard a literally could not see and the item did not come with instructions.I will swap for a smaller size if that does not work I will purchase similar style helmet elsewhere. I love the style , keep you posted.

Very nice helmet with great features and cool looks! I use a medium and it fits nicely on my melon. The clear visor is very clear and the retractable tinted insert is just the right amount of tint. The ratchet chin strap is a great plus! Can't go wrong with the price.
