While most thrillers send shivers down the readers' spine, the whole character building and simplicity in this plot is so intriguing that one cannot help but sympathize with the culprit. There is nothing crude or crude in this novel; The story line is sophisticated and the emotions are absolute.The plot is as perfect as the story progresses. That said, once the spell is broken, it seems somewhat far-fetched to have someone with unconditional and absolute feelings like Ishigami. His being at the right place at the right time only adds to this speculation. I have read the book long ago in the English language and now reading this in Hindi is exciting. Translator Madan Soni has done an excellent job of translating this Japanese crime thriller

The book "Devotion of Suspect X" follows the story as to how detective Kusanagi with his assistant Yukawa, who is a physicist, solves a murder whose mastermind is high school math teacher, Ishigami, to help his next door neighbor, Yasuko.Ienjoyed how the author employed math and science concepts in the story line which made the story even more exciting.The climax of the story is surprising and it will keep you hooked till the end.If you enjoy reading crime thrillers, you must grab this book soon. I will highly recommend this book.

I recently completed this book, and I must say it left me in awe. The execution of every scene was impeccable, drawing me deeper into the story. The skillful development of each character added depth and kept me engaged throughout. And the ending? Completely satisfying. I can't recommend this book enough.

This book has the potential to keep one in suspence throughout the read. Weather its step by step cover up or detectives investigation through the suspects, this book just made me stick to the story untill I finished it. Without a doubt, this book is highly recommended for the thriller investigation fans.
