There is sufficient space available to allow a standard plug to remain connected while the unit is pushed down, allowing for uncluttered work surfaces. While not in use the whole unit can be stowed neatly away making it flush with the work surface. 3 x UK plug sockets and 2 x USB (5V DC 2 x 1000mA, previously 500mA) power sockets in a stainless steel housing that neatly slots away into a fully retracted position. Easily fitted into work surfaces with a 102 - 105mm diameter hole. Fully retracted, the fitting requires 37cm down from the top of the cupboard. New stock of this item now features a matching stainless steel housing ring. Previous models have a painted silver ring. New stock also has updated USB power rating at 5V DC 2 x 1000mA, previous models were 5V DC 500mA x 2.
