Works for vegan macarons
The media could not be loaded. This product works for macarons! See photos above. For a first try, I followed my usual macaron recipe, substituting this powder mixed with water, in the ratio suggested on the package, for the same grams of egg whites I normally use. I did note that I had to macaronage much less using the aquafaba, than with normal egg whites. While my results weren't perfect, I'm overall pleased and will continue tweaking my recipe.
